Livingstone, a leading Software Asset Management (SAM) service provider has set up their new regional headquarters in Sydney, Australia on September 30, 2015. In order to meet the mounting demands from the major corporations in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, the company has set up its base in the country.
Stuart Plane, the ex-Managing Director and Advisor of Markit and OTCX respectively, has been appointed as the Business Head of Linvingstone’s Sydney headquarters. Commenting on his appointment, Plane said, “The opportunities in this region are immense, and I have spoken to a number of customers about what they need from a managed service provider, and where they see gaps in the market. The appetite for the complete Livingstone SAM managed service offering is really encouraging, and we already are in discussions with a number of firms who are looking for the specialist assistance only we can provide, and which goes far beyond the standard tools reseller services offered by other providers in this area.”
Daniel Simpson, CEO, Livingstone, is of the opinion that all the firms globally are in need of cost reduction for which the demand in the Asset Management industry has increased manifold and Livingstone will be capable enough in meeting those market demands by merging appropriate resources and apposite skills. Commenting on the initiation of the new Livingstone headquarters and the appointment of its new Business Head, Simpson said, “The opening of the new regional headquarters in Australia, with an experienced leader like Stuart at the helm, was the logical next step, and is a further demonstration of our relentless commitment to provide the industry's most effective SAM managed service capability to all our customers, wherever they are located."
