FREMONT, CA: Mitel, a provider of public cloud and mobile communication services, announces the addition of solutions to the mobile enterprise market enabling its users to experience the edge of Mitel’s real-time business, cloud and mobile communications solutions. The company expands its global footprint with launches in France and Germany.
The company introduces hosted Voice over LTE (VoLTE), Video over LTE (ViLTE) and Voice over Wi-Fi (VoWiFi) for mobile carriers. It enables the capability for associating all of a user's phone lines and functionality with one device, resulting in the user, not needing to carry multiple devices.
Mitel unveils embedded mobile real-time communications for Software as a Service (SaaS) applications in the mobile field service industry. The company announces a mobile-first, team collaboration solution with real-time, native integration that supports on-the-go screen sharing, content collaboration, real-time voice and video meetings. It also provides a cloud-based, mobile and M2M integrated technology that addresses the growing eldercare segment.
Mitel aims to eliminate legacy barriers and enables seamless, real-time communications and collaboration including Mitel Mobile Cloud Suite, Mobile Multi-ID, Mitel Embedded Communications and MiTeam. The Mitel mobile cloud suite offers cost effective hosted VoLTE, ViLTE, VoWiFi and advanced messaging services for tier-2 and tier-3 mobile carriers. The Mobile Multi-ID integrates a user’s identity from their individual devices and associates multiple phone lines on a single device without hampering any functionality.
Mitel Embedded Communications blends its enterprise-class communications and contact center capabilities with FieldAware’s mobile field service-scheduling software. The combination offers integration of location-based technology, CRM tools and real-time communications that turn multiple calls into one, thus enhances customer experience and boosts business intelligence.
Mitel’s MiTeam collaboration solution supports the latest work environments. Work teams can launch on-the-go screen sharing, content collaboration and real-time voice and video meetings for the participants outside the work environment including partners and customers.
"The vision of the mobile enterprise we outlined in October is becoming a reality," says Rich McBee, CEO, Mitel. "With today's announcements we're taking that strategy a step further by enabling the mobile cloud - the backbone for seamless, mobile communications. Now, industries across the board, from healthcare to education to sports, can seamlessly bridge what was once a costly and inefficient dividing line between the consumer and enterprise network. This enables a workplace that is ready for the mobile future and the benefits of the connected world brought on by M2M and the Internet of Things (IoT)."
