April 20186 Aglobally renowned automobile manufacturer was recently entangled in an ugly emissions scandal controversy. Last year, several reports about the Head of compliance of this reputed firm accepted his involvement in fraudulent practices, mainly evading US regulatory norms, costing the car manufacturer over $4 Billion. Reports of this shocking incident which sent shockwaves across the world also moved several decision makers to a state of epiphany and conveyed the message that compliance, if overlooked, can lead to a nosedive for even the world's most thriving organization. Most enterprise bosses have realized that the entire resource pool of organizations needs to unify to build an ideal compliance strategy that adheres to regulatory policies, resonates with their vision and steers them ahead of competitors as well. Ensuring adherence to industry benchmarks is no longer a task that can be confined to a particular department alone, at least in the current compliance climate. Implementation of compliance measures to curb data privacy, cybersecurity, corrupt practices and environmental risks are quintessential for firms of all sizes alike for amplification of growth. A clever compliance strategy also helps enterprises amass higher returns. Hence, joining hands with leading compliance solution providers is probably the wisest and widely preferred route to accomplish compliance goals cost-effectively. Collaborations also help foresee regulatory risks or challenges that may adversely affect an organization and paralyze its growth. Solution vendors tailor an optimal compliance strategy after comprehensively understanding a firm's goals and constraints over a series of iterations, thus keeping risks at bay. This edition of our magazine is an attempt to bridge several such promising compliance solution providers with enterprises in the pursuit of vendors to help accomplish organizational milestones effortlessly. The interviews with enterprise decision makers reveal several insights that will hopefully help resolve compliance hurdles.
