Nevertheless, with blockchain to the rescue, the use of distributed ledgers are enabling municipalities to instill security encompassing all sectors--banking, education as well as healthcare. Overall, blockchain serves as a comprehensive tool for ensuring the exchange of secure and authentic information across multiple media.Added to that, electric vehicles are gaining momentum in the smart city arena, to ensure conservation of renewable resources.
