December, 202019 Frasil seamlessly understands the individual needs of its users on their level and aligns itself to fulfill them in the most efficient mannerthat help users organize their day-to-day activities like choosing what to eat, wear, and/or do (My Day), communicate with teachers in a school environment (My School), as well as connect with family and carers via text message or email (My Family and Friends).Recently, Frasil has further enhanced the capability of one of its most transformative modules, My Voice, which is designed to help users that are unable to speak. To highlight the impact of My Voice, Crawley mentions the story of five-year-old Grace that uses Frasil to communicate with her family and carers. "With Frasil, we captured Grace's vocal moments, turned them into her own voice in real-time, and sync it with the app to allow her to express her feelings in her own unique and personal way," states Crawley. Frasil generated Grace's voice and enabled her to use it to interact with her family and carers, which was a compelling moment for everyone involved, as most of them had never heard her speak. In another instance, Frasil assisted a young boy named Jason to interact with his teachers even through his selective mutism using the app's My Needs module. As an individual on the autism spectrum, Jason struggled to communicate his needs at school, which sometimes led him to make mistakes. With Frasil, he was able to express his needs with a push of the button, allowing him to interact with his carers by sending a written or voice message in real-time.Looking ahead, Frasil aims to expand the functionalities of its app by introducing a camera-based module that allows users to interact with their environment with just their facial movements. Additionally, the company plans to ramp up its integrational capabilities to eliminate the need to buy additional smart home devices. From a geographical standpoint, Frasil is planning to penetrate markets beyond the U.S. and Australia to help as many PLWD as possible across the world. In pursuit of achieving this, the company is currently developing user aesthetics for the eventual addition of new languages, which will be key in effectively delivering Frasil's benefits to users hailing from non-English speaking countries. In conclusion, Fran reiterates the ethos of Frasil, "We will continue building out the capabilities of our application to support carers, family members, and teachers in interacting with PLWD while helping users in improving their quality of life effectively and affordably." < Page 9 | Page 11 >
