June, 20206 According to cloud computing statistics published by the Hosting Tribunal, the global public cloud computing market is set to exceed $330 billion by the end of 2020. What was once considered to be a risky venture to invest in, or adopt into business processes, has evolved into a crucial amenity that most organisations spend a third of their IT budget on. Safe to say, that for 2020, the weather forecast reads cloudy with strong winds of change.Creating a paradigm shift in every industry, cloud computing is transforming businesses by delivering hosted services with unabated cost benefits and business innovation. On the other end of the spectrum, leveraging SaaS and PaaS-based cognitive applications, the agencies can streamline processes and bridge the communication siloes with their customers and partners. Another trend visible in the markets is the rapid migration of companies from the private cloud to the public cloud. This is spurred by companies' reluctance to lag in the race for digitisation and modernisation of IT infrastructures. Recognizing the importance of data, it is also a sound strategy to adopt a multi-cloud infrastructure to secure the data crucial for business proceedings. There will be further development in technologies that support cloud solutions due to this increase in demand from enterprises. This will be fuelled by the combination of swift increases in processing power and a new generation of CIOs who have grown up using cloud-based tools. To summarise, companies have come to realise that cloud technology offers the much needed operational flexibility for their processes that were otherwise mired in legacy technology that hindered expansion. On that note, we present to you a special edition of APAC CIO Outlook on cloud service/consulting providers. We have featured some of the top cloud service providers who deliver outstanding technology services and are changing the playing field on the daily. We hope this edition will help you to optimise your technology investments to fit your strategic business models for the rest of the year.Annie JohnsonEditorialBreaking the Barriers in Cloud TechnologyAnnie JohnsonManaging Editoreditor@apacciooutlook.comArt & GraphicsAmelia StewartDavid ParkerToby LangtonJie Ch'angManaging EditorAnnie JohnsonSenior WritersLane Adams Clara MathewRoyce D'SouzaEditorialAlfred MardinLouis BeckerRachael ClarkRoy ChowDai ShihDan StanleyJUNE - 15 - 2020, Volume 06 - Issue - 21 (ISSN 2644-2876)Published by ValleyMedia Inc.Emailsales@apacciooutlook.comeditor@apacciooutlook.commarketing@apacciooutlook.comSalesJames Williamjames.william@apacciooutlook.comTo subscribe to APACCIOOutlookVisit www.apacciooutlook.comCopyright © 2020 ValleyMedia Inc.
