HP Introduces Indigo Label Press to Expand Flexible Packaging
HP upgrades Indigo 20000 and 30000 along with new ink and substrate options, offering converters and brands unmatched application possibilities at faster speeds.

PALO ALTO, CA: HP announces the industry's most productive digital narrow web press, HP Indigo 8000 Digital Press, allowing customers to monitor print status remotely as well as track and improve production performance over time.
HP also upgrades Indigo 20000 and 30000 along with new ink and substrate options, offering converters and brands unmatched application possibilities at faster speeds.
Faster Label Applications
The HP Indigo 8000 Digital Press offers label production faster speed up to 80 meters per minute or 262 feet per minute. Using AVT (advanced vision technology) inspection it delivers in-line and offline control and quality assurance in the print job.
The Digital press features HP Indigo ElectroInk Premium White, a versatile new ink that helps converters deliver a wider range of opacity levels. It also features a new color automation packagethat perfects color accuracy, consistency and repeatability, enabling converters to reach any brand color in minutes.
Flexible packaging
The HP Indigo 20000 Digital Press offers an upgraded package with features like compatibility with new substrates, such as polyethylene and stretchable material, for a wide range of high volume flexible packaging, shrink packaging and pressure-sensitive in-mold label applications, such as lids and laminated tubes. New color capabilities, advanced color matching and color consistency across jobs, presses and sites are offered in the packaging. It now support for the new HP Indigo ElectroInk White Premium high concentration 20 kilograms of ink buckets for industrial-scale production.
Folding Carton Made Easy
The upgraded package of HP Digital 30000 increases productivity by 30% and offers flexible carton folding. The press allows new high-margin opportunities with synthetic media as well as metalized boards, polyvinyl chloride, polypropylene and polyethylene terephthalate materials. The HP Indigo 30000 Digital Press also provides new and improved security features, such as micro text and barcodes.
