In your opinion, how has the Managed Services landscape evolved over the years? What are the myriad advantages of technological evolution for businesses today?

The landscape is forever evolving. The recent changes in Cloud Services have given businesses a wider choice for the type of services and the way they access those services. Businesses now have the ability to move to consumption and subscription-based models to alleviate the costs of ever-changing environments. Winc Australia, which provides everything Australian workplaces need to work, including bundled technology solutions, has just launched the Cloud. Winc Marketplace for the SMB market. This includes monthly subscription-based licensing which allows customers to efficiently scale up or down according to business needs.

What according to you are some of the challenges plaguing Managed Services today and how can they be effectively mitigated?

Services have traditionally been used to lock in customers for periods of time.
That can be a challenge for businesses who need a more flexible approach to help manage budgets and staffing levels. Then there’s also the rise of remote working to consider. Its why workplace solutions provider Winc Australia has launched its new automated Cloud. Winc Marketplace to give customers the choice of how and when to deploy Cloud services in a self-managed capacity. The Winc offer also includes complimentary solutions around the Microsoft programs such as virtualized back up, additional security and infrastructure as a service. Winc is using its deep knowledge of the category, as well as its unrivaled expertise in insights-led procurement, to ensure each Cloud. Winc Marketplace customer has the right solution to meet its unique needs.

Which are a few technological trends influencing Managed Services today? What are some of the best practices businesses should adopt today to steer ahead of competitors?

The adoption of Cloud and Managed Services is influencing the market. As more defined models are produced by the Solution providers it will make it easier for businesses to think Cloud first. This will in turn influence the budgets and capacity within the ICT space.

Do you have any suggestions for our reader segment which comprises of industry veterans and young entrepreneurs from the Managed Services space?

The best advice to give is to look at the whole solution offerings that are available via specialized resellers. Solution offerings from trusted advisors will give organizations the right approach to accommodate the ever-growing needs and functionality that modern businesses require as they adapt to the technology and workplace environment changes happening around them. One solution doesn’t always fit. Look for a provider who can help understand your business model and adapt solutions to meet your needs.
