ACTIONX PTY LTD: Achieving Maximum Business Value with AI

Dominic David,Managing Director, ACTIONX PTY LTDDominic David, Managing Director
As artificial intelligence (AI) becomes a vital technology for all enterprises, its usage within enterprises has witnessed a tremendous growth. To reap the complete benefits of AI, organizations today need a deeper understanding of machine learning (ML) algorithms, data integration, business processes, and strategies. Although these tasks may seem uncomplicated, most companies lack time, resources, or ability to implement AI that aligns with their core business objectives, data management, and IT strategies. As technologists look to modernize their IT systems to meet the market demands quickly, improve business operations, and reduce unforeseen costs, professional AI consultants that offer complete support from implementation to training has become very crucial.

That is precisely where ACTIONX, a technology agnostic training and consulting firm brings to bear their advanced data analytics and AI expertise. Based in Australia, ACTIONX is helping clients adopt analytics and artificial intelligence across the enterprise. “Our forward-thinking experts understand the customer’s exact needs and challenges, analyze the market, suggest the best-fit tools, and provide the required technical assistance needed for the effective adoption of AI,” begins Dominic David, Managing Director at ACTIONX.

ACTIONX is stirring a revolution in the AI industry leveraging their years of extensive hands-on experience, market research, and proven methodologies. The company has developed a maturity and capability model that helps organizations implement AI successfully. The model comprises maturity assessments, frameworks, and methodologies that enable organizations to accelerate and optimize their AI strategy and implementation to achieve the best value from AI technologies. ACTIONX evaluates organizations based on three key parameters, which include people, technology, and business processes. Based on the maturity index, ACTIONX can determine where the organization is positioned on the AI adoption curve and accordingly recommend the best-fit solution to move forward.

To successfully adopt AI across the enterprise, clients need higher levels of maturity for people, processes and technology. This is where ACTIONX helps

“To successfully adopt AI across the enterprise, clients need higher levels of maturity for people, processes and technology. This is where ACTIONX helps,” explains David.

Right across the value chain, ACTIONX offers training and consultancy on data science and AI, which ranges from on-site workshops all the way through to deploying a consultant to solve mathematical AI problems using AI tools up to implementation and deployment. With an in-depth knowledge about current AI trends and best AI practices, the company prioritizes collaboration with their clients, third-party technology vendors, world-leading research and advisory organizations and has their in-house managed research group covering AI Adoption across many different industries.

In addition, ACTIONX guides boards and executive teams on how AI can create new sources of business value. “Pete Lirantzis, CXO advisor and principal consultant, works directly with executive teams to demystify the technology, and design how this apparatus can be implemented to achieve superior business results,” explains David. Further, ACTIONX works with technical and project delivery teams to help with problem-solving, strategic and operational support.

To elucidate more on their consulting services, David discusses Pawsey super computing centre (supported by CSIRO), the Adelaide University (UoA) and Carnegie Clean Energy (CCE) who have applied for government funding to develop and deploy AI and ML models to transform the global renewable energy market using Carnegie’s ocean wave energy technology - CETO 6. Globally, Carnegie is the only company to have operated a grid-connected wave energy array project and invested 140 million dollars into research and development. Carnegie is currently building AI and ML models to predict ocean waves in space and time, CETO’s response to waves and real-time control to extract maximum possible energy from passing waves. ACTIONX in collaboration with UoA and Pawsey will be supporting Carnegie on its AI and ML models to improve their accuracy and efficiency and help reducing the Levelised Cost of Energy (LCOE). LCOE is a key metric to commercialising the CETO 6 technology and making ocean wave energy more competitive. ACTIONX will be involved with CCE, UoA and other stakeholders from training, collecting requirements, exploratory data analysis, variable to component analysis, and more, to applying ML and deployment of these models into production. The accuracy of ML models governs the accuracy and stability of the controller; this culminates into further layer of challenges making this project one of a kind, globally.

With a strong customer focus and depth of skills and experience, ACTIONX is adding value to the AI realm. “Our ultimate aim is to strategically partner with our clients to drive successful adoption of AI by providing best-in-class tailored services at the executive, senior management and technical level,” concludes David.
