ADC Power Concept Group of Companies has been recognized by APAC CIOOutlook Magazine as the recipient of “Data Center Cooling Solution Company of the Year in APAC,” based on our proprietary methodology, reflecting its position in the industry. This profile has been developed by the APAC CIOOutlook research and editorial team based on insights from an interview with YUEN Tat Yan.

ADC Power Concept Group of Companies
Next Generation High Density Cooling & Critical Power Technology for Hyperscale AI Data Centers

ADC Power Concept Group of Companies
YUEN Tat Yan, Managing Director
ADC Power Concept Group of Companies has been a trusted leader in mission-critical infrastructure for more than two decades. Specializing in hyperscale AI data center solutions across Southeast Asia, it delivers advanced critical power systems, high-density cooling solutions and AI-driven monitoring and management to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Major hyperscale AI data centers rely on ADC's Prefabrication Modular Block Concept, designed to meet rigorous certification standards and ensure exceptional operational efficiency in tropical climates. This approach includes the Prefab Power Train Unit (PTU) skid & container, Prefab containerized diesel power generators, Prefab containerized water-cooled magnetic levitation chiller plants and Prefab hybrid air + liquid cooling solutions.

Our extensive experience of more than 20 years and expertise lie in designing, fabricating and deploying Prefabrication Modular Block Concept for Hyperscale AI DC Infrastructure and applications (greater than 200MW IT load)

As an experienced systems integrator, it offers end-to-end seamless support—product selection, system design, installation, commissioning and ongoing maintenance— delivering comprehensive solutions tailored for clients across the region with the shortest lead time and competitive offer.
It offers products from OEM manufacturers that can work hand in hand to develop tailor-made solutions, designed to align with applications suited to local tropical environments and conditions.

"Our extensive experience of more than 20 years and expertise lie in designing, fabricating and deploying Prefabrication Modular Block Concept for Hyperscale AI DC Infrastructure and applications (greater than 200MW IT load)," says YUEN Tat Yan, managing director.

High-Density, Smaller Footprint with Innovative Prefabrication Hybrid Air + Liquid Cooling Solutions

ADC Power Concept’s comprehensive suite of high-efficiency cooling solutions keeps pace with the growing demand for hyperscale AI data centers. This demand is driven by significant investments from industry leaders in the region, including Nvidia, Microsoft, Oracle, AWS, Alibaba, and Bytedance. Key data center operators such as YTL DC, Yondr DC, Equinix DC, GAW Capital DC, TM Nxera DC, AIMS DC, Bridge Data Center, EdgeConneX DC, Digital Edge DC, K2 DC, GDS DC, and ST Telemedia DC are also contributing to this rapid expansion.

Hybrid air + liquid cooling solutions are customized for the intense workloads of AI GPUs like NVIDIA’s A100, H100, H200, GB200 and GB300, which can generate up to 180 kilowatts of heat per rack. ADC Power Concept provides highly efficient and comprehensive liquid cooling solutions per OPEN Compute Project design recommendation for tropical region deployment. This includes the design and selection of closed-loop cooling towers, coolant distribution units (CDU), and Prefabricated modular TCS (Technology Cooling System) stainless steel liquid cooling modules c/w direct rigid coupling and energy valves design.

For air cooling solutions, ADC Power Concept typically recommends high-efficiency, compact COOLWALL solutions from Germany. These cooling coil modules, with a depth of less than 530mm only, are designed to help clients optimize space utilization in FWU corridors. The space-saving design enables the deployment of liquid cooling CDUs & Tanks within the same area, meeting the demands of high-density rack requirements in data center halls.
By implementing Dual fan wall corridors, ADC Power Concept achieves optimal cooling performance without requiring significantly more space compared to conventional AHU FWU systems. This design ensures N+2 redundancy with high availability while maintaining an energy efficiency average rate of 0.15 WATT/CMH, supporting the best possible Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) performance.

“We are well-equipped to address the unique challenges of operating in tropical regions, particularly the high temperatures and humidity common in South Asia,” says TY Yuen.

Global Standardization and Modular Solutions with Rapid Deployment for Hyperscale AI Data Centers

With the accelerated growth in computing power demand, ADC Power Concept has been shortlisted by leading global AI cloud and information technology companies in Asia and the U.S. as a regional partner to design and fabricate state-of-the-art Prefabricated modular block solutions for Hyperscale AI data center deployments as well.

Drawing from extensive knowledge and experience in handling Generative AI workload patterns for lLarge Language Models (LLMs), the prefabrication modular block concept enables product standardization, complete with predictive AI monitoring capability. Build on a scalable building block design, this approach ensures faster deployment and is Pre-tested off-site to enhance quality control and reliability. It will eventually transform into a much lower TCO cost, with simplified installation work and reduced CxL testing and commissioning requirements at the project site.

Staying ahead of industry advancements, ADC Power Concept Group of companies is strategically positioned as the go-to partner for the most demanding data center power and cooling challenges.
