AOTTER
The BEST Time to be a Digital Content Creator!

AOTTER

Co-founder & CEO,Lun Xie, AOTTERLun Xie, Co-founder & CEO
With increasing online traffic and the proliferation of internet services, digital content creation has emerged as an essential tool for B2B communication and landing clients. The businesses are focusing on implementing digital marketing strategies to benefit from the increased online traffic and are adopting digital content creation tools and services. This has fueled the growth of the digital content creation market during the past couple of years. Digital content creation is a vital component of digital strategies implemented to attract potential customers through white papers, blog posts, and case studies, among others. The Global Digital Content Creation Market size is expected to reach US$ 38.2 billion by 2030 at a CAGR of 12 per cent during 2020 and 2030.

Simply put, we are heading to a world where everyone will be a digital content creator. Preparing for such times, AOTTER, a wellknown Taiwanese technology media company in Asia, focuses on developing (SaaS-based) tools for digital content creators and the production of selfmedia. The company has risen to fame in the digital content creator tools space in Taiwan.

Housing great technical power and flexibility in R&D, AOTTER’s innovations of MarTech SaaS services in the digital content industry know no bounds. The company’s R&D company collaborates with many big names, including Foxconn Technology Group, Twitter, Benq Group, Gamania Group, Greenpeace and more.

Also worth mentioning is that AOTTER is the number one womanpowered tech media brand in the Chinese speaking community, and as of 2021, AOTTER is the only member of the IAB Tech Lab in Taiwan. “We have our own digital advertising network, tracking technology and user analytics. Meanwhile, we have a big data database for Chinese text analysis, making us a leader in Taiwan’s self-developed advertising system,” informs Lun Xie, Co-founder & CEO of the firm.

The Roots

AOTTER was first started by three National Taiwan University students—Lun Xie, Peng-Han Su and Wayne Hwang. The team at AOTTER began with developing a collaborative editing tool called PasteWall for digital content creators. The name AOTTER comes from combining the word Otter and the programming term AOT (Ahead of time), which means “ones who are ahead of time”. To this day, AOTTER is still developing PasteWall.

The predecessor of AOTTER was ontoo Inc., where the team launched FlyingV, the largest crowdfunding website in Taiwan. “Us founding members wanted to do more than crowdfunding services, so we spun off and created AOTTER. We have been dedicating ourselves to leading a “brain industry revolution”, because we believe that digital content and self-media production will become one of the major industries in the future,” smiles Lun Xie.
Why You NEED AOTTER!

AOTTER, focuses on providing data analytics, easy-to-use ad delivery solutions and content monetisation platforms for creators to use. This way, clients understand how influential their contents are quickly, and they can directly collect advertising or viewing fees on the platform provided by AOTTER. In addition, the firm also offers a comprehensive service from advertising data to content exposure and payment solutions. Youtubers, bloggers, podcasters, and even Tiktokers can use AOTTER services to monetise their content.

The tools for content search and data cleaning are also self-developed by AOTTER, complete with Chinese language features, high integration, and the ability to analyse audiences without worrying about the failure of thirdparty tracking.

AOTTER’s product ecosystem is like a production factory that can analyse the characteristics of various digital content viewers, make operational recommendations and choose the best exposure methods.

Advertisers can also use the AotterTrek data platform to get insights into the characteristics of the audiences interested in their products and drive better performance in warming a cold audience. The product ecosystem provided by AOTTER downplays the role of platforms, so creators can focus on running their websites or creating content. This helps move the entire creative industry forward and shortens the time to value.
"When creators and commercial clients enter AOTTER’s ecosystem, they get a fast, simple and enjoyable experience. We integrate the whole digital creation tracking, analysis and monetisation process, all without interfering which platform the user must put their works"
AOTTER allows customers to quickly create shortened URLs to analyse the online content they want to promote and then directly deliver ads on the platform. If they need a more detailed customer analysis, they can also generate smart reports (Self- Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology) through AotterTrek within five minutes.

As for digital content creators, they can use AOTTER’s NewsBuffet service and SuprOne content monetisation platform to make their content visible to more people and also charge viewers directly for the content. Everyone can have their own OTT (over-the-top) media service. All of these can be linked to AotterTrek, which lets digital content creators sell their digital ads.

Simply put, AOTTER’s product ecosystem is like a production factory that can analyse the characteristics of various digital content viewers, make operational recommendations and choose the best exposure methods. These recommendations can even help creators monetise content faster and better precision and co-creations with other creators online.

“When creators and commercial clients enter AOTTER’s ecosystem, they get a fast, simple and enjoyable experience. We integrate the whole digital creation tracking, analysis and monetisation process, all without interfering which platform the user must put their works,” says Lun Xie.

Top-Notch Customer Experience, Guaranteed!

One such example is Marais, a wellknown home décor brand in Taiwan that uses AotterClam to build its e-commerce system. At the same time, every link it shares uses AOTTER’s URL shortener SuprLink service under AotterTrek, which increases exposure on the Internet and allows them to use tools to understand customer preferences.

In addition, Greenpeace’s education platform has also begun using AOTTER’s solutions this year. Some 200 car brand advertisements have been delivered through AOTTER’s advertising technology in the past two years. “The results are very promising, and we have basically covered almost all the car brands that can be found in Taiwan,” says a proud Lun Xie.

In terms of collaboration with self-media creators, AOTTER worked with over 100 creators in 2020, helping them generate over U$ 1 million in creator profits.

The team at AOTTER has numerous applications waiting to be launched. AOTTER is looking for content partners with steady traffic for data application cooperation, advertising monetisation and capital partnership in the international market. Lun Xie believes that Taiwan is home to a unique blend of multicultural influences and enjoy convenient transportation and a deep pool of highlevel tech talents. “We look forward to seeing more international capitals or companies coming to Taiwan to expand and invest. We believe that Taiwan will see new thriving brands in the same league as TSMC, Foxconn or MediaTek in the digital content industry in the future. And we have no doubt that AOTTER will be one of them,” concludes Lun Xie.
