“Our approach to serving our customers is in line with our legendary brand promise ‘We try harder’.” We indeed strive hard to not only provide innovative mobility solutions but also deliver them consistently to our customers, tackling diverse set of challenges present in the Indian market,” says Sunil Gupta, MD & CEO, Avis India. Such a high degree of reliability enjoyed by Avis Lease customers is a key factor for the success of Avis Lease in India, as it endeavors to exceed the expectations of its clients and users - over 98 percent satisfaction levels bears testimony to this.

Avis Lease has over 400 clients, a network of 325 service partners and over 4000 cars on operating lease

As the customer preferences towards mobility evolve to the next level, Avis India stands out as one of the most reputable brand and is best placed to lead the change in the category.
Established in 1999, Avis India is a joint venture between Avis Budget Group and The Oberoi Group of Hotels and Resorts. Today, the company has become a one-stop shop for all vehicle mobility services for corporate clients, ranging from operating lease with fleet management and chauffeur drive car rentals to self-drive car rentals. It has over 6000 vehicles meeting all standards of safety, quality and reliability and a direct presence in 20 cities across the country.

Avis India launched its lease and fleet management services in 2012 and within five years, it has become one of the leading operating lease companies in India with a full suite of products and services including Red Carpet and Premium Lease, fleet consultancy, fleet planning and acquisition, fleet management, fleet reporting and car resale. Avis Lease, most preferred amongst top management, has over 400 clients, a network of 325 service partners and over 4000 cars on operating lease in over 70 cities in India.

Its strategic investment in leveraging IT to bring in complete transparency in rentals through a real-time GPS based end to end electronic billing system called the eRA, a first in the industry, has been well appreciated by corporate clients. The Avis Secure Desk drives the total safety system for ladies using Avis services and this has brought about a quantum change in security levels for lady travelers. Its Experience Enhancement Initiative not only connects all their users directly with their leadership team but also brings more convenience to their customers. The company is transforming itself by getting on the digital highway - it has launched the “Avis Lease Services Portal” that automates the process of providing operating lease services to its customers. Additionally, they also invest in building their core team to meet the challenges of ever evolving customer expectations.

“Due to our flexible, customer-centric approach, we have become the preferred operating lease partner for an impressive client base comprising Fortune 500 multinational companies and leading Indian corporations in varied industry segments including banking, insurance, consulting, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, FMCG, retail, automotive, IT & ITES and telecom, among others,” says Sunil.
