AXLBIT: Delivering Richer and More Convenient Subscriptions

The subscription-based model has risen to become the Holy Grail among businesses wanting to win over customers for the long haul by providing convenience at their fingertips. However, building, managing, and automating a SaaS-type application to track multiple subscriptions can be challenging, and most firms must gain more know-how to achieve this feat.

Enter AXLBIT, a Japanese software service provider that offers a SaaS-based subscription management solution to aid businesses in better managing their enterprise application implementations. It also provides MSP services, IT consultations, and system integration offerings to strengthen their cloud ecosystems.

“Our mission is to make work more fun by automating complex contracts and simplifying the complex subscription management life cycle. We achieve this vision through our technology prowess and customercentric user interfaces,” says Akihiro Hasegawa, CEO of AXLBIT.

Its flagship AXLGEAR platform streamlines the invoicing, contracts, and client management processes necessary for B2B subscription businesses. It automates supplier processes and the administration of challenging activities like estimates, orders, invoicing, and renewals to improve clients’ overall productivity. Simultaneously, the platform’s automation capabilities enable users to minimize human input across conventionally manual facets like billing from orders and service update notifications to reduce errors and enhance overall operational efficiencies.
From a data management standpoint, AXLBIT allows users to link data from the AXLGEAR platform to their primary system (relationship management or marketing automation system) through one of various dedicated APIs for seamless system linkages. This data can also be coordinated with existing implementations like settlement agency and customer management systems (SFA/CRM) to ensure the development of robust and accurate data processes. From order receipt, deployment, and billing to unhindered application usage, AXLGEAR automates many business processes for subscription-type services like Microsoft 365 and Azure, resulting in a considerable decrease in man-hours needed for service, supply, and administration.

AXLEGEAR has an inbuilt control panel for service providers, resellers, and end-users, which allows users to buy the contents of the app store from providers or sell the contents directly to customers. The control panels include a dashboard to view statistical data, graphs, and various reports (customers, contracts, orders, invoices, etc.) Recently, as the use of IT advances, the objects to be maintained and managed are expanding and becoming more complex.

Our mission is to make work more fun by automating complex contracts and simplifying the complex subscription management life cycle. We achieve this vision through our technology prowess and customercentric user interfaces.

Increased operating costs are a major concern for corporate IT departments, driving hurdles in optimizing the allocation of IT budgets in strategic areas. AXLBIT bypasses this issue with AXLBOX, a SaaS application marketplace built in collaboration with leading CSPs, where enterprises can reliably browse through a wide range of state-of-the-art enterprise solutions and choose the ones that best suit their objectives.

Recently, Tata Consultancy Services approached AXLBIT to support their transition to Microsoft Azure. In this instance, it deployed AXLGEAR to build a platform within the framework for robust implementation and initial use while accelerating service provisions by automating operations. Using AXLGEAR, Tata Consultancy Services’ Japanese arm could adapt to complicated workflows unique to Microsoft Cloud. Subsequently, they reduced the time required to deliver a SaaS service from eight hours to 30 minutes.

Moving forward, AXLBIT wishes to push toward its vision of creating a system that actively leverages newer technologies to expand its functionalities and delivers genuine value to subscription providers and users.
