Smart phones have ushered in a new era where products and services from all over the world are just a tap away. Organizations from across industries are going ‘mobile’ with their company database and business oriented tools and apps for all hierarchies within the organisation. Business functions can be conveniently performed by leveraging cloud computing and mobile devices. Although enterprise mobility has gained momentum several enterprises are falling behind in the race owing to the complexities surrounding building a mobile strategy. In order to help the government and corporate sector leverage the power of mobile, Alan Williams, Darren Besgrove and Tony Harris came together to incept BlinkMobile in 2005.

A decade down the line, the organization is at the forefront of the evolving services and technologies needed to address the myriad issues associated with rapid multi-platform app development within large and complex organisations. “We offer low-code development and easy deployment services but importantly adds high-level mBaaS services designed to harness the IoT and mobile allied technologies such as beacons/proximity, RFID/NFC scanning and environmental sensors,” explains Alan Williams, CTO, BlinkMobile.

As one of AWS’s leading solution providers, BlinkMobile uses AWS’s ‘services supermarket’ and overlay the tools, system, applications, and support that lay down the groundwork for deploying the mobile/IoT solutions. Through a wide set of open source projects that are in harmony with some of the AWS services. These projects are secure and efficient as it is carefully monitored by CloudWatch.
This enables the companies to easily host applications which are flexible (in terms with programming/coding languages), cost-effective, reliable, secure and scalable with high performance. BlinkMobile being the AWS’s first and only ‘Mobile Competency Partner’ in APAC not only caters companies with low-code development and easy deployment services but also add high-level mBaas services which is basically designed to harness the IoT and mobile allied technologies such as beacons/proximity, RFID/NFC scanning and environmental sensors. However, the companies still have not yet embraced ‘Mobility’ as a productivity tool as they cannot scale the increasing demands.

BlinkMobile is at the forefront of the evolving services and technologies needed to address the myriad issues associated with rapid multi-platform app development within large and complex organisations

“We have the experience and have assembled the cloud services, internal systems and necessary alliances into complete solutions that organisations can rely on to REIMAGINE and REINVENT how their organization operates in the mobile age”, justifies Alan.

When BlinkMobile helps companies deploy these platforms across various networks within the organisation, they endow companies with exclusive advantages such as portability, availability, capturing data in real time, personal ownership of devices and system independence. The ability to draw data without hampering the other established systems blended with perfect harnessing of mobile devices over desktops and laptops in-turn reflects on the whole effective processing of data within an organisation. The end result is a well-integrated platform of higher level services that support development and deployment of solutions that include native and web apps, all manner of user notifications and IoT devices such as readers/sensors. With the orgaization’s strong suite of services BlinkMobile has excelled at helping organisations re-imagine and reinvent themselves in today’s Mobile-Age.
