The telecom industry has been revolutionized with the term all IP for a long time now, which is also used to describe the transformation of formerly telephone-centric networks towards next- generation network (NGN). The telecom businesses have witnessed adequate transitions on this front in the past which shows well in their inclination towards adoption of IP networking. Presently, almost all international network operators have begun their transition to an all-IP infrastructure, but many still face challenges trying to ensure the IP infrastructure is as reliable as the legacy TDM network. Cataleya Private Limited helps easing this task with its urge to make networking technology simpler, more intuitive and ready to enable an all-IP world.A wholly owned subsidiary of Epsilon Global Communications, Cataleya is a known name in IP networking technology, with a strong track record in developing and deploying next generation carrier grade session border controllers (SBCs).

Cataleya made its way into the telecom sector to address the need to manage quality of service (QoS) and experience (QoE) end-to-end through the transport to the application layer. The company developed the Orchid One, a next-generation session border controller (SBC) that could deliver the level of visibility and control needed to enable seamless migration from a legacy TDM network to an all-IP infrastructure. Orchid One provides the Communication Service Providers (CSPs) in any market the ability to deliver advanced solutions like Voice over LTE, Voice over WiFi and fraud identification and mitigation.
It’s a technology capable of immediately impacting a CSP’s business no matter where it is deployed. “Orchid One is delivering end-to-end visibility into IP networks while capturing network data and turning it into actionable insights. It has been specifically designed with a simple and intuitive user interface to make network management easier and a more empowered function within the new IP paradigm” specifies Jay Jayasimha, CEO, Cataleya Private Limited.

"With Orchid One, Cataleya has made a significant move towards supporting IP adoption and enabling its customers to adopt an all-IP infrastructure confidently."

With Orchid One, Cataleya has made a significant move towards supporting IP adoption and enabling its customers to adopt an all-IP infrastructure confidently. Orchid One creates a level playing field where CSPs around the world can have an access to intelligent and high performance networking. It has come up as a powerful solution for adopting IP and deploying some of the most demanding communications services in the world. It also provides CSPs real-time insights into session, service, application, MOS/R-factor scores, network and end-to-end SLAs. It even helps in fraud prevention, a critical crisis causing carriers to lose an estimated of $40 billion per year.Owing to the innumerable advantages associated with Orchid One, Cataleya has been able to carve a vast client base including InComm, Bangla Trac, SmartIPX, gvtele and Asia Telecom. Cataleya holds various success stories to its name, which gear it up to go ahead and create many more in the years to come.To work in this direction, Cataleya will continue to push the innovation boundaries and develop solutions that involve conventional IoT (Internet of Things – M2M) in the near future.
