In the past few years businesses have woken up to the criticality of infusing technology into their operations. As a consequence there is a growing reliance on IT companies that are also eyeing rapid growth and at the same time, finding ways to stand out and beat the budding competition. No exception to this rule, the Asia Pacific region is also witnessing several new IT ventures. Having identified this opportune time, Central Data Technology (CDT), a provider of Oracle solution and support services found its way into the APAC IT space. Headquartered in Indonesia, CDT was founded in 2011 to offer reliable technical support solutions to businesses. It was introduced as a subsidiary of CTI Group which since 2004 has operated as one of the major Oracle Value Added Distributors (VAD) in Indonesia. The group’s support solutions for Oracle were later carried out by CDT, which continually developed oracle competency across their 8,000+ partners’ network.

The company’s first Oracle product was a database designed for enterprise grid computing, which was presented under the brand name of CTI Group. Since then, the group has kept up well with the evolution of Oracle. Now acknowledged as CDT, the company has always invested in the technologies which were being acquired by Oracle. With time, the company also shifted its focus to cloud services as Oracle turned itself into a cloud-centric businessand is proven to assist partners and customers accelerate every phase of their transformation especially to embark into IT-as-a-service companies.“We are very keen to help our partners and customers by providing professional services in order to guarantee a successful implementation for Oracle products or solutions which we delivered,” entails Suzan Zhang, President Director, Central Data Technology.
CDT offers an extended service portfolio, which has earned it a vast client base. Among the varied services provided by the company lie three essential support solutions. These include Oracle Exa Integration Service, which helps customers integrate all their Exa systems, i.e., Exadata, Exalogic and Exalitic to enable data exchange from one system to the other. The other two major services are Oracle Migration Service, which helps migrate customers’ non-Oracle databases to Oracle and High Availability for Database Service, which helps protecting data from disaster and also ensures its continuous availability. Zhang adds, “CDT always commits to develop expertise in order to keep up with the rapid changes in technology and to maintain its position as the leading VAD in IT enterprise industry. To ensure customer’s business continuity, CDT provides 24x7 Customer Response Center and Preventive Maintenance.”She mentioned a notable project of Exadata at one of largest state-owned enterprise company in which CDT is the first distributor that win Exadata Project in Indonesia. In this project, CDT is fully responsible from design, site preparation, installation, migration, preventive and corrective support as well.

CDT always commits to develop expertise in order to keep up with the rapid changes in technology and to maintain its position as the leading VAD in IT enterprise industry

To attain consistent growth remains a concern for every organization and for CDT too, it remains a major focus area. Thus, the CDT team has continuously been emphasizing on its core competencies, i.e., technology, marketing & sales and distribution channel. Owing to its unswerving efforts, the company has also bagged various awards such as Oracle Top Revenue Achiever Technology's Partner, Oracle Partner of the Year and Oracle Partners Excellence Award - Partner of the Year. “We are optimist that we will grow significantly in years ahead as well as expand our coverage to regional market and be the most preferred IT Solution in wider market in ASEAN countries,” says Zhang. Besides, the team considers service excellence and technical competence as the two major focus areas for future.
