    CESE2: Pioneering the Field of Construction Engineering

    China Electronics System Engineering No. 2 Construction Co., Ltd (CESE2) was established in 1953 by China Electronics System Engineering Co., Ltd (CESEC) as a big state-owned technology enterprise. The company provides a wide variety of professional contracting and general contracting services such as clean environmental protection, intelligent facility system resolve scheme, engineering consulting, project management, equipment procurement, construction, and installation as well as operation and maintenance of the facility. When clients select CESE2, they get the advantage of working with a state-owned enterprise, qualified project teams, the perfect supply chain for construction materials and equipment, owned labor resources and owned design institute, and more.

    Currently, CESE2 has 30 branches as well as four subsidiary companies. One of them is located in Thailand, named CESE2 (Thailand) Ltd. co. CESE2 engages in engineering construction in the fields of microelectronics, flat-panel display, optoelectronics, photovoltaic, precision machinery, and pharmacy and hospital operating room. The company provides their independent research and development manufacturing ability, and cooperates with famous manufacturers to set up a strategic alliance for becoming a whole supply chain of construction.

    Explaining how CESE2 empowers its clients, Mr. Liang Sheng Yang, GM of CESE2, says the core is to set up a professional team and provide perfect service. The company leverages new technologies, like the Internet of Things (IoT), to establish the construction management platform, which effectively solves the difficulties encountered in the project management.
    After the project is established, the company forms a team to consult and understand the project comprehensively. “Consultancy service covers project investment in the early stage, feasibility study, project application for approval and application for funding, and more,” adds Yang. During the design period, CESE2 takes advantage of design resources by continually optimizing the service architecture and forms a multi-field professional design features as per the client’s requirements.

    Building Information Management (BIM) technology is also used to complete the design model for the project. “If our clients have some special requirements for their process, we optimize the proposal to guide them, to make them understand, accept, and even approve it. In this way, we will communicate deeply with the client to establish a good trust between us,” mentions Yang. After the completion of the project, CESE2 provides training to the client’s operation team, and the maintenance service will also be offered for some period so that the client will be assured in the late operation of the facilities.

    Shenzhen Huaxing Photoelectric Project, the largest industrial manufacturing project in Shenzhen, is one such client of CESE2 that relies on the company for the proper functioning of their facility. The total project investment is RMB 24.5 billion yuan, which is the largest industrial manufacturing project in Shenzhen since its establishment. It is the first domestic advanced LCD panel production line dependent on independent innovation, team, and self-construction.

    As a general contractor of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP), CESE2 met the urgent needs of the client, concentrated the company's superior strength, compiled an optimized proposal to implement the project, mobilized human resources, worked overtime day and night and finally completed the construction work in 100 days. “The project met the requirements of trial production and the facilities successfully were put into operation two months ahead of schedule,” remarks Yang.

    Due to its high-quality services and a firm belief in the pursuit of excellence, the company has won many national, industry and regional awards, including Lu Ban Award, the highest ranking prize for the quality of projects in the country, the "China Installation Star" for MEP projects covers clean industry and Electronics Technology Innovation Award, and more. In addition, to maintain the leading position in the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) in special industries, the company aims to concentrate on expanding overseas markets, expanding CESE2’s experience and apply it to Southeast Asia and other regions.
