Starting with an exciting, intelligent piece of technology, AI is making its way into delivering numerous tangible benefits across market segments. From website chatbots to robots in factories to self-driving cars, AI has come a long way. However, despite offering numerous benefits, the development of an AI application involves a considerably long pipeline. Organizations need to hire a team of AI professionals for data collection, processing, cleaning, model building, evaluation, packaging, and deployment. Data experts need to have cross domain expertise, and endless communications must be carried out during the application development process. The hassle does not end here. They also need to carry out model updates every three months. Alongside taking years to execute, AI projects can be exorbitantly costly for organizations.

With the aim to lower the threshold for developing AI models, Chimes AI has built an enterprise no-code AI platform. Tukey helps organizations easily build, adjust, and manage AI models in a cost-effective manner. “The Tukey platform is easy to use, horizontally scalable, and customizable, it helps organizations to develop AI applications efficiently and scale them as needed,” explains Johnson Hsieh, PhD, Founder and CEO of the company.

Code-free and Fast AI Model Deployment

Through data analysis, behavior prediction, and automatic processing, Tukey helps clients build AI applications to achieve the benefits of mass production. The platform can easily process data extracted from IoT, ERP, and CRM. Chimes AI also provides an interface to support machine learning operations (MLOps) and self-built algorithms for clients with high AI maturity. Clients can also benefit from Tukey’s cross filter capabilities that automatically generate analysis reports by processing data tabularization. They can complete end-to-end AI applications by themselves through its drag and drop data extraction, ‘AutoML’, and Model Lifecycle management. They can easily establish an AI model and evaluation report within a minute while realizing AI empowerment through effective algorithms and AutoML technology.

Tukey’s intelligent and transparent operation interface help users easily disassemble the complex data and complete the data cleansing work. After the self-built AI model is online, clients can apply the Tukey model API and support their own applications such as BI insight or anomaly notifications. In addition, Tukey extension modules offer custom dashboards for a complete detailed view of the application development.

“With Tukey and simple workshops, clients can build AI applications in an economical manner and a short span,” says Hsieh.

With Tukey, clients can bid adieu to complicated system pipeline engineering, comparing the performance of different versions of models, and easily handle model deployment and additions. Being simple and intuitive to use, Chimes AI’s Tukey empowers on-site practitioners to carry out tasks from data extraction to AI model building efficiently. With its automated packaging function, Tukey uses the shortest time to interface with corporate information services. The solution helps in the optimization of production parameters, early warning of abnormal equipment performance, evaluation of the supply and demand of raw materials. Once the self-built AI model is online, its parameter operation suggestions or anomaly detection notifications can help companies make the best decisions in the first time itself.

Real World AI Applications

Chimes AI offers a number of advantages to clients from a variety of industries. Chimes AI’s Tukey enables organizations to self-build parallelized AI applications, especially for environment, social, and governance (ESG) issues. The company understands that manufacturing plants significantly impact the environment, and equipping manufacturers with AI workflows can optimize the process. To further improve their ESG procedures and lower costs, the company helps with the addition of renewable or biomass energy to help manufacturers. Furthermore, Chimes AI offers reduced carbon emissions for the petrochemical industry, predictive maintenance of wind turbines for wind power plants, improved dyeing and finishing yields, reduced sewage treatment costs for the textile industry, and more. In addition, the company also helped enhance the value of waste recycling and promoted a circular economy for a client from the iron and steel industry.

As the platform is easy to use, horizontally scalable, and customizable, it helps organizations to develop AI applications efficiently and scale them as needed

Tukey’s efficiency is testified by various users, including asset maintenance engineers that use the solution to become more professional when using AI. Maintenance supervisors have successfully exported the solution to their overseas factories without any hassle. Similarly, the solution has enabled various AI engineers with AI skills and free up more time to focus on other complex AI problems. In a nutshell, Tukey has changed the AI strategy for enterprises.

Hsieh recalls an example when one of the world's top ten petrochemical companies with more than $60 billion in revenue wanted to reduce unplanned downtime due to equipment failures, which proves to be costly and increases the chance of personnel injury and environmental incidents. To avoid equipment failure, the company worked with Tukey to build a predictive maintenance system for 20 factories in Taiwan. With Tukey’s simple and intuitive interface and automated packaging function, the client could deploy business intelligence services in the shortest time. Within three months, 15 technicians built 1000 AI models without any programming skills. Resultantly, the client discovered that there is more than five percent increase in equipment utilization rate while increasing the AI solution workflow 1000 times faster than the previous practice. In addition, Chimes AI Tukey is designed in the concept of people-oriented in mind. “We provide users with innovative workflows that enhance their ability to leverage artificial intelligence technology,” states Hsieh. While enterprises have the ability to use the platform (Tukey) to build models with data, they also protect their business secrets and enhance their core competitiveness.

The reason for such a brilliant achievement is the hard work of a group of members who are passionate about artificial intelligence, which include data scientists, software engineers, UX designers, and business consultants in various fields. The team has assisted clients in various verticals to use AI applications and take advantage of its enormous benefits. Backed by this expertise, Chimes AI is ready to break into overseas markets and deliver the benefits of its no-code AI platform on a global scale. The company will soon offer specified turnkey solutions in vertical markets supported by subscription services. The core philosophy of Chimes AI will continue to focus on reducing environmental issues such as gas emissions and energy waste to save our planet.
