Cloud Services Solutions: Facilitating Cloud-based ERP Implementation for Uninterrupted Business Operations

The global COVID 19 pandemic has caught the entire world off-guard and forever changed our experiences―as customers, employees, citizens, humans―and our attitudes and behaviors are altering as a result. Amidst the global lockdown, a lot of capital-intensive projects within organizations are stalled due to inadequate remote support as they have their center of excellence in one centralized hub. On top of that, these organizations also need to remotely perform regular business functions such as hiring, payroll, termination, and others. On these grounds,cloud-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) system promises to be a silver bullet solution, enabling organizations to efficiently manage ― business continuity, sudden changes in volume, real-time decision-making, workforce productivity, as well as mitigating any security risks. However, implementing an optimal cloud-based ERP system can be an arduous task for organizations. The C-Suite executives have to juggle between multiple vendors and solutions to latch onto the appropriate ERP system that serves their purpose. This is where Cloud Services Solutions comes to the picture with its impeccable advisory services to help organizations find and implement an appropriate ERP system and third-party vendors in a time and cost-efficient manner. “Amid the current scenario, we have an existing infrastructure to help organizations roll out their capital- intensive projects and run their business-sensitive operations without any hindrance,” states Stephen Roche, CEO at Cloud Services Solutions.

The company undertakes a very streamlined 10 step process for an effective ERP implementation, which includes— investigation, writing the request for proposal (RFP), budgeting, identifying vendors, developing the roadmap, among others. With more than a decade of experience in the industry, Cloud Services Solutions has designed a matrix system that has basic questions such as existing pain points, number of resources allocated for the project, their support, and maintenance plan after the project goes live and so on.

Amid the current scenario, we have an existing infrastructure to help organizations roll out their capital- intensive projects and run their business-sensitive operations without any hindrance

"We spend about a month to a month and a half with organizations doing this matrix to discover what is the best solution for them," informs Roche. Subsequently, the company writes the RFP to design the budget and help them engage with the appropriate vendors. Then comes the development of a roadmap that helps organizations achieve their desired outcomes. And finally, the implementation, training the resources, and support, once the project goes live.

Roche observes, “A lot of organizations only reserve their resources for the frontend project implementation and lacks proper support once the project goes live.” Organizations fail to leverage their cloud applications optimally, as these applications need to be maintained, updated, and upgraded multiple times a year. Subsequently, the highly proficient and experienced team of Cloud Services Solutions not only helps them implement the best solution but also provide strategies to extract maximum benefits through their cloud applications.

“Sometimes, we are brought in at the tail end of the project to analyze documentation, maintenance, and support post-go-live of a project to discover and eliminate any loopholes in the implementation process,” says Roche. He shares a customer success story of an organization that had put their project on hold due to inefficient management by the existing management consultancy firm. Cloud Services Solutions analyzed the project, renegotiated the contracts with the software vendors, brought in the appropriate third-party implementation partner, and was able to get the client back on track within its allocated budget. The company also helped the client finish the project within the stipulated time frame.

Cloud Services Solutions has three headquarters in the U.S.— East Coast, mid-market, and the West Coast. The company also has its operations in Europe and Asia with offices in London and Singapore, respectively. Moreover, Cloud Services Solutions has plans to expand its service portfolio to drive down the costs for organizations from an operational standpoint and maintenance of sophisticated applications. “We are aligned and ready to take on the recent challenges in cloud implementations services to help our client stay ahead of the curve,” concludes Roche.
