Complia Health
Enabling the Business of Caring - Completely

Complia Health

The Healthcare industry is one of the most complex yet rapidly growing industries in the world. Moreover, within the industry, the complexity of providing quality care is challenging: never-ending regulations, increased patient demands, staffing complexities, cost and margin pressures, and competitive threats. Amidst the dilapidated state of the industry, Complia Health (formerly Procura Healthcare Software) has strongly stood firm, even after its 25 years of existence. Complia Health has come to understand these challenges and provide solutions for them. The company has revived itself and, more importantly, revolutionized the entire sector in the process. The company believes in and is completely focused on ‘Enabling the Business of Care’.

Headquartered in Victoria, Canada, Complia Health has made important breakthroughs worldwide, significantly in the Australia – New Zealand market as its customer base drastically increased from a meager six to eighty in just five years. The Healthcare firm provides software solutions enhancing client efficiency from the point of care through scheduling and billing – and all the functions in between. Their services range from critical documentation processes to managing skilled and unskilled caregivers. They also collaborate with progressive technology providers and associations for the benefit of the customers. Though a highly successful firm, Complia Health continues to keep striving towards their ultimate goal of helping healthcare executives better understand how they can take advantage of Information Technology to improve their operational and quality of care.

The firm possesses a fine range of solutions and products that specifically cater to different markets. For instance, their chief product Procura, which caters to Canada and Australia-New Zealand markets, provides a full spectrum of functionalities including mobility, back office, and portals. It helps automate, guide, and grow business with the utmost of ease. ContinuLink, the cloud-based software that serves the US and Canadian markets, seamlessly manages multiple lines of businesses across different locations.

Complia Health carries out clinical, operational, and financial complexities of delivering long-term and post-acute care with ease

The remaining family of products, Igea, Progresa, and Suncoast, which exclusively serve the United States, streamlines home healthcare and hospice delivery and provides easy-to-use administrative solutions. Suncoast brings together all the elements of hospice, palliative, and bereavement care together in one customer-centric product.

With a modern, business-centric approach to healthcare, Complia Health carries out clinical, operational, and financial complexities of delivering long-term and post-acute care with ease. ‘Complia means Complete.’ True to their name, the firm powers healthcare services for SMEs and emerging enterprises around the world. Additionally, Complia Health supports businesses and payers, including government programs, private insurance, and individuals. The ever growing industry challenges like regulatory compliances, increased patient demands, staffing complexities, cost and margin pressures, and competitive threats, are met with Complia Health’s family of powerful and complete technology solutions. A delightful example of their commitment to enhance client businesses is the case of Home Nursing Group, which realized huge growth, productivity, and care quality improvements by Complia Health’s assistance.

Home Nursing Group, founded in 1985, provides community aged care services assisting families wishing to care for loved ones at home, rather than institutionalized aged care. With more than 1000 clients and possessing an arsenal of highly experienced, fully trained nurses, the HNG team was well resourced and on the progressive curve. However, Home Nursing Group sought to replace their existing client management system that limited their capabilities to hold all relevant client information, objected efficient staff working, and increased administrative work. Complia Health implemented a new integrated Community Care Software Solution that covered contracts and programmes, people and skills, scheduling, recording and billing, e-business and claiming, and care planning for recording and the delivery of services. The solution satisfied all client requirements with added benefits of streamlined workforce planning, accessible information, and centralized administrative functions.

The firm excels in their mission of providing innovative technology and expertise. Complia Health everyday helps 30,000 caregivers at 2,600 customer locations around the world, delivering complete medical care to two million patients. Their specialty is spread around businesses like Home care, Community care, Disability services, Pediatrics, Hospice, and Retirement villages. And look to help customers navigate an ever-changing industry landscape.

Complia Health Unveils Emma Secure Messaging

SCHAUMBURG, Ill.: Complia Health, a leading home health and hospice technology solutions provider, announced today the addition of HIPAA secure messaging to its AI-based chatbot, EMMA (Electronic Medical Management Assistant). This is the latest in a series of tech driven enhancements to EMMA that further provide a world class caregiver experience empowering proactive, seamless, integrated health management.

EMMA Secure Messaging was released last week and is available for current clients and all agencies providing Home Health Care, Private Duty, and Personalized Care Services. Secure Messaging enables an agency's back-office team to initiate and continue one-to-one and group conversations with other back-office users, caregivers, clients, client contacts, facilities, and physicians.

"EMMA has transformed the way agencies, clinicians and consumers interact with the health care ecosystem and their care team members," said Paul Minton, SVP of Product Management. "This latest addition to EMMA's expanding suite of solutions is seamlessly embedded within our clients' EMR workflows, connecting care teams through in-line messaging within the platforms and on the devices they already use," he added.

EMMA is the dynamic face of Complia Health's Smart Aging Platform™, which connects consumers, their devices, their care team, and agency administrators. With the addition of secured text messages, EMMA streamlines communication securely to increase timeliness and convenience, improving front-line engagement and satisfaction for caregivers.

"We are committed to helping our clients leverage technology to improve clinician and consumer experiences, and we are very pleased with the impact EMMA has had in streamlining workflows and improving clinical and financial outcomes," explained Rich Berner, Complia Health CEO. "By delivering secure, instant information transfers, this latest functionality provides real-time access to critical information and collaboration, improving patient outcomes, employee satisfaction, and overall efficiency," he added.
