High-end Service Provider of the IT Industry

Digitec PNG Ltd

CIO VendorNirmal Singh, CEO
The significant investments that continue to emerge from local, regional and international quarters have made IT development flourish much faster in the Asia-Pacific region. However, there are still some regions where the need for a robust Information and Communication industry has been a major concern. Resolving this scarcity of an ICT company in Papua New Guinea, Digitec PNG Ltd took the first step towards becoming the ICT leader and game-changer in PNG in July 2012. As a purveyor of quality IT solutions for customers around the region, Digitec started its first retail outlet in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.

Within three years, Digitec now operates three retail outlets in Port Moresby, offering end-to-end solutions and services to monitor business interactions of clients. Digitec’s client-oriented nature aids in the identification of quality IT solutions for clients’ entire ICT infrastructure. Nirmal Singh, CEO, Digitec PNG Ltd says, “We understand our customers business and place the foremost importance on matching our technological capabilities with our customers’ needs.”

Headquartered in Australia, Digitec has been working as a trail-blazer in the market, delivering ICT Products and Solutions on stipulated time and at lower costs. The company was incorporated in 2002, with the objective of increasing client’s market share, without compromising product value. Since its expansion into the region, the company has created several success stories in PNG. Currently, Digitec has set up a significant customer base in the Government and Private Sector of the country, and operates diligently to confront their IT challenges.

Digitec's Data Center is state of art and equipped with the latest innovative technology available in the market

The core competencies of the company, Virtualization Solution and Data Center Hosting, have played a significant part in developing innovative software solutions. Virtualization Solution has helped clients to achieve a more flexible and efficient virtualized infrastructure by consolidating multiple servers that run at non-optimum levels into one.

With their vendor-trained and certified engineers, Digitec, a member of TRAC, provides solutions and services which resolve their clients’ most complicated business needs. Speaking of the expertise of Digitec’s engineers, Nirmal says, “Digitec Engineers consist of 6 X VCP5 Certified and 5 X MCITP Certified. They also hold Citrix and ITIL certification.” The company’s more than competent team provides solution on Virtualization using VMware, Hyper-V and Citrix.

Building a well-equipped Data Center has been recognised as one of the most important steps for businesses to run productively. Data Center keeps the IT systems infrastructure secure and eases the implementation of new technologies. Digitec has been regarded as a pioneer in providing clients a more efficient Data Center. Digitec's Data Center is state of art and equipped with the latest innovative technology available in the market. Digitec provides on-site resident Engineers on a 24 X 7 basis and also deploys ISP services for Data Center customers.

Cementing their position in the industry, Digitec is edging towards the future earning prestigious awards namely, Dell Rookie of the Year 2014 SADMG Region, Sage Best Performing New Partner Year 2014 and Ricoh Summit Club winner Year 2015. The company’s undivided focus towards innovation has attributed to the company’s relationship with Dell as its Tier 1 partner and Distributor in the Pacific Region, and has earned them some of the most prominent clients in the market. Mapping their geographical and technological future, Nirmal Singh, says, “Digitec will be distributing Dell Hardware in the Pacific region and build the Data Center Business with ISP Service. Our company is constantly searching for cutting edge technology and market trends that can enhance and transform our customers business.”
