DSI: Redefining Efficiency through Digitisation of Enterprise Mobility Solutions

Pieter Vandevelde ,VP, APAC, dsi globalPieter Vandevelde , VP, APAC
For any organisation, it is crucial to be onpar with the latest trends of business and technology to determine its competitive stand in the market. In order to lead the race, a majority of companies now are aligning towards traditional business strategies such as ERP and SCM. Moreover, with the introduction of technology into this space, digitisation of ERP and SCM solutions has gained increased popularity among providers. Owing to its enviable results, digitising the supply chain has become a top priority for CIOs and CTOs. Realising the gravity of this emerging trend in the market, DSI came up with its solution of a strategic Digital Supply Chain Platform™ that is integrated with its customerorganisations’ system(s) of record. Headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, DSI’s objective is to provide strategic solutions that enable companies globally to digitise their end-to-end supply chain. DSI also provides a suite of integrated solutions for customers running Microsoft Dynamics AX, IFS, Oracle, NetSuite, Infor, and SAP.

Today, after 30 years of supply chain consulting with 1,400 customers globally, DSI is the world leader in mobile-first digital supply chain solutions and continues to expand beyond its manufacturing and distribution data collection roots, to areas of mobility including Field Service, Field Sales, and Cloud Inventory with an end-to-end view of the digital supply chain.

DSI’s Digital Supply Chain Platform equips companies with a range of rapid app development tools that include drag-and-drop, form-based tools and ready-made app templates thatare readily made accessible through the cloud.
Pieter Vandevelde, VP APAC at DSI says, “The long term advantage associated with the Digital Supply Chain Platform is its self-sufficiency in managing the life-cycle of mobile apps.” Speed to market challenges have gotten solutions so highly amplified by the complex nature of the tools for mobility, it has become increasingly complicated and expensive to address a variety of supply chain needs. DSI guides organisations to rationalise this complexity when they are ready to consider a holistic, integrated platform solution that is OS, mobile device and system of record agnostic.

DSI’s core competency lies in the mobile-first approach to address challenges in the supply chain and understand how data is best represented on a mobile device, captured, interpreted, transmitted and later integrated to a system of record.“In the hyper-competitive landscape of B2B software, it’s all about recognising pain patterns across the supply chain across different industries and providing customers with a cost-effective enterprise solution to address and solve those supply chain challenges,” adds Vandevelde.

“Headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, DSI’s objective is to provide strategic solutions that enable companies globally to digitise their end-to-end supply chain”

DSI’s road to the future looks promising as the company has gained momentum with their hiring drive in the APAC region and strives to capitalise on strong growth around the globe. Recently, the company has established a new office in Hong Kong in addition to their current offices in Melbourne, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. Last year, DSI acquired a local US company that integrates with Microsoft Dynamics AX and IFS, facilitating native digital solutions in the region. DSI’s Partner Alliance Program is growing at a record pace worldwide, with both resellers and solution delivery partners that can represent DSI to sell and implement a solution. Earlier this year, the company joined the GS1 Australia Alliance Partner Program and looks forward to expand that to other GS1 countries in APAC.
