DX Solutions: Delivering Security Solutions in Association with Verizon

Karl Wood & Peter Yialas,Head of Technology & MD, dx solutionsKarl Wood & Peter Yialas, Head of Technology & MD
One of the most crucial and daunting tasks for the cyber security companies is to deliver hassle-free SecOps (Security operation Procedures), which is often considered a roadblock to innovation and delivery processes. However, DX Solutions, a Sydney-based company contemplates it as its forte by offering innovative security services and solutions with an assurance to carry out an uninterrupted delivery process and unmatched speed in the security market. DX Solutions assures digital scalability on-demand, by securitizing data in transit on consumption based pay-by-the month price model. The company ever since the beginning of its journey in 2001 has been concentrating on the Australian market with a mission to understand its clients’ business objectives and fulfil them with its outstanding ICT solutions.

Being the sole APAC Gold channel partner of Verizon—a leader in security, network services, and IoT, DX has the exclusive distribution rights of Verizon’s digital transformation offerings including its Secure Cloud Interconnect Solution. DX has aggregated these offerings and application monitoring to provide a fully secure solution— RUBX. This solution is designed to assist organizations’ transition to the cloud whilst retaining full PCI compliance. It helps organizations to choose public, private or hybrid cloud platforms with SCI providing a secure backbone between on premise and public data centres. Coupled with a cloud management platform and automation experience, DX offers a full DR solution across multiple cloud sites with guaranteed business continuity. “We see the future consumption based on IoT possessing multiple challenges and having a strong security offering. We believe that we can help clients establish the right framework to overcome the challenges of tomorrow and adapt accordingly,” says Karl Wood, Head of Technology, DX Solutions.

We believe that we can help clients establish the right framework to overcome the challenges of tomorrow and adapt accordingly

Sharmilla Gosai, Channel Lead Verizon, Verizon elaborates “Working closely with Verizon, DX offers varied security solutions including Managed Security Services, Cyber Security, Advanced Security Services (ASOC and SOC), Threat intelligence, Network Firewall Protection, DDoS/WAF/BoT Protection, and Forensics and Security Response (Insurance).” Wood further adds, “We see customers of all sizes across various verticals that are transitioning to the cloud and are starting their digital transformation journey.

With Verizon, we provide a Secure Cloud Interconnect as a service that enables securitized cloud transitions.” DX offers Verizon enterprise grade products to its clientele, majorly SMBs and mid-market customers. The company has an as-a-service consumption based pricing model that is only available through DX.

DX Solutions was founded on the principle of converting years of delivery knowledge into solutions for its clients. Detailing it further, Peter Yialas, MD, DX Solutions says, “A common trend amongst project delivery was the complexity and number of artefacts that were required to deliver complex integrative solutions. Team DX came together to identify a solution that could be industry agnostic, and the result was Vantage.” Vantage utilizes complex integrated diagrams with multiple overlaying layers to show full business processes, combined with system interaction and actor touch points to show the ‘solution on a page’. Vantage is a dynamic solution which integrates all source artefacts and required systems to allow customers get a full simulation of the solution. It also integrates real-time with agile toolsets in order to update fly along with real-time RAG status information. After creation of this view, another product is built from Vantage which is called Pinpoint. It takes the complex system and process flows to break them down into common pathways. The pinpoint method allows for e2e automation by reducing test planning timelines, and delivering greater coverage than traditional methods. Siva Thaivarayan brought this unique process drawing style with him to DX and together with Karl Wood and the support of DX Directorship have created Vantage and Pinpoint. With these solutions in its portfolio, DX capably serves its clients’ critical business requirements. However, to further prepare for their growing needs, the company will concentrate on the next wave of smart-cities with heavy focus on integration, big-data, and IoT.
