Ekky Software: Holistic Solutions for E-Commerce Websites

MD,Dallas Clarke, Ekky SoftwareDallas Clarke, MD
Founded in 2003, Ekky Software is an Australian software and website developing company dedicated to producing the highest possible quality websites without compromising on clients' desired business goals. In 2015, with strong background knowledge of coding, Ekky became one of the leading companies in producing successful e-commerce websites for their clients. Having established as the go-to Magento experts, Ekky is now taking a change in direction from e-commerce to SaaS with their TAccounts.online.

“We have more than two decades of experience in developing enterprise-level e-commerce solutions for business owners and entrepreneurs. Our digital design is both functional and aesthetically pleasing, helping clients achieve excellent results,” says Dallas Clarke, MD, Ekky.

Most people find it difficult to trust software developers and lack the knowledge to find the right partner for their organizational growth. Several service providers give their customers cheaper alternatives while compromising on the quality of the service. On the other hand, hiring a A$20/hour developer from a thirdworld country will undercut the market.

Companies need someone they can trust and remain personally connected. This is where Ekky fits the bill perfectly.

Ekky is focused on building websites for medium to large businesses with a digital portfolio of work that is over seventy-five million dollars annually in value. They handle e-commerce sales of over A$100 million per year, where the stakes are really high. “Losing a day’s sales is like losing an apartment,” says Clarke. The company provides a one-on-one solution tailored to their customers' needs by organizing customized website designs. Their website design and development is influenced by the brand marketing strategy to deliver targeted content for customers. For instance, they mainly advise customers to focus investments on advertising with Google and Facebook for the best results. This holistic strategy plays a pivotal role in customer retention and loyalty.

To put things into perspective, Ekky’s major customer Oscar Wylee has over 150 stores spread across ANZ and is currently expanding in Canada as well. Their engagement with the client ended up in one of the largest online e-commerce installations. It came with its own set of challenges, like ensuring the website is available for 18x7 operations, with maintenance time only between 12 am, and 6 am. To that end, Ekky ran a A$100 million/year Magento installation for Oscar Wylee. The system Ekky has created allows Oscar Wylee to process highly customized orders with a unique prescription for each customer. This is an example of a mass customization production system. Oscar Wylee's success is partially due to the high customer experience and making sure over 350,000 orders get processed annually without many mistakes.

We have more than two decades of experience in developing enterprise-level e-commerce solutions for business owners and entrepreneurs. Our digital design is both functional and aesthetically pleasing, helping clients achieve excellent results

Amidst all the success stories Ekky has scripted along their journey, Clarke is still fresh with the memory of the company’s genesis while he was still in University. The driving dream is now embodied in TAccounts.online. Ekky wants to shift to the U.S. and re-establish the company there as a part of this new venture. Clarke is taking a wellearned break to reboot himself before this change and seek funding for TAccounts.online. “I hope to find talented people willing to be part of my team and finally realize the dream an idyllic young university student once had,” he concludes.
