FEETS SDN BHD
Bridging the Gap between Employers and Employees

There is a huge gap between employers and employees,” says Mr. Clement Tan (Group CEO and Co-founder) and Ms. Lee Miew Lan (Group COO and Co-founder), FEETS. Though HR’s are plunging into the HR technology bandwagon, most of it is a hop-and-skip approach to seize big advancements, ignoring small but crucial elements promptly. These small advances encompass communication, a relationship between an organization and an employee which potentially results in satisfaction at work. Often such interventions are set aside, resulting in businesses to fall flat, leaving stakeholders wondering where they went wrong. FEETS was designed and developed to understand this prevailing gap and nurture better engagement amongst employees.

FEETS was founded in 2017. The firm's solutions primary features include analyzing happiness, stress, and engagement within a business, giving stakeholders a general idea of an employee’s attitude through a unified dashboard with analytics. “We believe that the main challenge faced by companies is the inability of stakeholders or managers to fully understand an employee’s sentiment towards work and the working environment,” states Clement. With FEETS, the HR technology landscape has manifested a sense of belonging to its employees and enhanced talent recognition within an organization.

Expectations in employee engagement and performance management have led the firm to devise a mobile application in collaboration with University Malaya. Modeled to engage and understand employees better through a complex self-learning system. It is fabricated to delve deeper into the workings of an organization via an executive analytic dashboard.

A gamification element is integrated into the application where activities and actions could help garner points. These points are exchanged for rewards provided by retail, food and beverage, beauty, and entertainment sectors to the employees of an organization. Also, the point accumulated contributes to bringing about a competitive edge among its users. The more the users get active on the app; they can unlock trophies and achievements. FEETS does this to encourage participation and foster cooperation and teamwork amongst employees which ultimately leads to the success of an organization.

“FEETS also renders users a platform to share ideas and thoughts through a community portal. The feature can be used to organize brainstorming sessions, CSR events, and product or service improvements,” mentions Clement. This is done in addition to recognizing and nurturing talent.

This change in Human Resource Management technology has enabled FEETS to develop human capital further through Artificial Intelligence (AI). This is the biggest revolution that is expected to change the way HR technology would work. The initial challenge of ‘time constraint’ and comprehending the wellbeing of an organization is done away with. The firm can assess its employees on a daily to weekly basis and make effective decisions. This continuous learning and improvement of its AI program gives a clearer understanding of its employee’s sentiments or corporate engagement. Consequently, expertise and experiences in Human Capital Management practices especially on implementing talent acquisition, performance management and career development modules in the ASEAN region, has led FEETS to revolutionize the Human Resource trend.

Aiming at making amendments and creating happier employees for better companies, FEETS is looking to expand its technological capabilities in the South-East Asian region. It wants to enable work satisfaction in as many organizations as possible with all the compiled data. “With the use of FEETS within an organization, we’re hoping to see higher interaction levels and healthier working environments. This hopefully may push the boundaries of creating better workplaces in the long run,” concludes Clement.
