Helping Retailers Exceed Ever-Increasing Customer Demands

Gone are the days when the retail industry was all about physical proximity to the Customer. With consumers having an option of buying either online or in-store, retailing is more about brand awareness and building a positive first impression. Retailers must track their stock constantly and get products out of the warehouse to their destination, in the most efficient way possible, if they’re to win and retain customers. Handling Click & Collect systems and return processes in-store, often when teams are young and part-time, are short comings of the retail industry. Fluent Retail, an Australian company, has built a cloud based system that enables retailers with both physical and online stores to gain a single real-time view of their inventory. Its in-store app allows staff to easily manage orders, returns and exchanges providing a first-class customer experience. Graham Jackson, CEO, remarks, “Fluent Retail’s cloud based platform requires minimal staff training time and can be customised and extended depending upon the retailer’s objective.”

Fluent Retail, a provider of smart order orchestration and real-time inventory management was established back in 2015 as part of Parcel Point to offer postal and courier services. Identifying an opportunity to help retailers respond to the ever increasing customer demand for rapid, low-cost and convenient omni-channel shopping options, Fluent Retail was born.
The company’s highly scalable cloud based platform provides retailers with the automation, in-store tooling and smart order orchestration software needed to reduce shipping costs, eliminate manual process, minimise the need for excess stock and make efficient use of inventory across the entire company.

Fluent Retail integrates with all major solutions including Amazon, SAP Hybris, Magento, eBay, PayPal and Startrack, and can provide a ‘click & collect’ solution in just four weeks. Next, it’s ‘omni-channel returns’ solution provides one platform for returns across all channels, allowing fast processing in-store, integrated refunds and a user-friendly process for retailers and consumers. By deploying Fluent’s Retail’s ‘ship from store’ solution, retailers can dispatch stock quickly and minimise mark downs of excess stock.

Lastly, Fluent Retail’s smart order solution allows retailers to easily configure rules and workflows to suit their individual needs, providing a single view of inventory and tailored routing to help improve online product availability.

Fluent Retail customers include Woolworths, Big W, Samsung, Oroton, EBay, Nine West, Bras N Things, French Connection, Ezibuy, Top Shop and many more. The company has expansion plans for the UK, Europe and Asia in 2016. Designed specifically for retailers, the quality of Fluent Retail’s technology is a testament to its success.
