THANK YOU FOR SUBSCRIBING

FSCreation Co. Ltd. has been recognized by APAC CIOOutlook Magazine as the recipient of “Top Microsoft Solutions Companies,” based on our proprietary methodology, reflecting its position in the industry. This profile has been developed by the APAC CIOOutlook research and editorial team based on insights from an interview with Chieko Tsujimura, Representative Director.

FSCreation Co. Ltd.
The Cloud Migration Expert

Cloud computing is increasingly gaining momentum in Japan, with numerous companies utilizing it as a catalyst for their digital transformation endeavors.

According to a 2022 survey, almost 43 percent of enterprises in Japan have fully implemented cloud computing services. An additional 27.7 percent of businesses have implemented it in some offices or departments.

The shift to cloud-based systems has helped companies with greater flexibility, scalability, and cost-effectiveness in managing their IT infrastructure.

FSCreation Co. Ltd. is a frontrunner in helping Japanese companies leverage the immense power of the cloud to transform their businesses.

FSCreation’s founding members have extensive experience in Microsoft products, including 365, Exchange, and SharePoint. They are also accustomed to the intricacies of storage, networking, network services (DNS, CA stations, and web), and security.

When We Perform Migration From Notes And Other Systems To Microsoft 365, We Conduct Scenario Checks Involving Peripheral And Related Systems Based On The Premise Of Long-Term Operation. This Allows Clients To Prevent Overlooked Sources Of Trouble At An Early Stage

Leveraging this experience, the team has created standardized checklists and guidelines to facilitate the cloud migration process and make it as smooth and secure as possible.

“When we perform migration from Notes and other systems to Microsoft 365, we conduct scenario checks involving peripheral and related systems based on the premise of longterm operation. This allows clients to prevent overlooked sources of trouble at an early stage,” says Chieko Tsujimura, the representative director at FSCreation.
In particular, it incorporates the concept of account lifecycle into the design, which was not a major concern in the on-premise era. It also conducts feasibility studies for clients to experience and understand the system’s efficiency. This information is also incorporated into the operational design.

FSCreation’s biggest advantage is its ability to perform a single-unit or one-stop implementation. In Japan, the typical approach to SharePoint implementation entails the infrastructure team handling the structural design and the development team handling applications and UI.

FSCreation challenges this status quo with its services that reduce the overall project time while preventing issues that might come along the way. It also provides support after the migration to ensure that clients’ operations are running smoothly.

“We Believe That Technology Should Be Equally Available To Everyone, Regardless Of Their Technical Expertise. To Achieve This Goal, We Provide It Solutions That Are Userfriendly. Our Solutions Require A Bit Of Study, But They Do Not Need Deep Expertise To Use”

Generating Wisdom and Creativity

While different companies may have varying approaches to achieving their goals with cloud, 70 to 80 percent of the objectives are commonly shared, regardless of their industry or whether in the public sector or education. Similarly, the implementation process may vary depending on the company's culture and level of investment, but the security objectives remain relatively consistent.

FSCreation's solutions are crafted to meet these needs, irrespective of the size and scale of business operations.

“When introducing a completely new system, it is easy to identify what you want to do, but it is difficult to notice issues hidden behind it,” says Tsujimura.

It understands that an exclusive focus on functional requirements may hinder it from identifying non-functional requirements, including operational needs. It always clarifies what must and what must not be done and creates use-case scenarios and review processes.

“We believe that technology should be equally available to everyone, regardless of their technical expertise.
To achieve this goal, we provide IT solutions that are user-friendly. Our solutions require a bit of study, but they do not need deep expertise to use,” says Tsujimura.

For example, FSCreation implemented a Microsoft 365 pilot environment (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams) in a 2000-user client environment in two months and also conducted an autopilot in a 300-user client environment in just one month.

Its solutions are complemented by a wide range of advisory services covering on-premise hardware, authentication infrastructure, network and network equipment like FireWall and intelligence switches, data optimization (DataBase), cloud design patterns, cloud storage, and system development requirements.

This broad range of services is meant to optimize the entire IT ecosystem for clients rather than just parts of it. FSCreation believes that this approach is necessary to truly demonstrate the capabilities of an IT system. While many IT vendors focus on partial optimization within the scope of systems ordered by customers, FSCreation’s holistic approach ensures that its clients' systems are entirely optimized.

Acquiring New Technologies

FSCreation has multiple strategies in place to stay ahead of the competition. It conducts seminars with Microsoft Corporation, where it provides ideas for a realistic approach to solving clients’ challenges.

Seminar participants are encouraged to ask questions about their own challenges in implementing Microsoft 365, and FSCreation provides advice on implementation methods and how to avoid problems during operation.

Another significant tenet of its culture is the education imparted to its engineers. This equips them with the ability to independently define requirements and design multiple services for products like Microsoft 365. It also conducts regular training programs to help these professionals acquire versatile technical skills and learn about new functionalities in products beyond Microsoft 365.

This helps engineers think creatively to identify potential applications for similar technologies and areas where new technologies must be obtained.“We don’t make our clients regret a system implementation as we always do our best. We are delighted that we can change the system implementation project into something more enjoyable and exciting,” says Tsujimura.
