Allen Lee ,Managing Director , Genesis NetworksAllen Lee , Managing Director
Every successful IT project needs a high level of commitment in every aspect from design, installation, configuration and maintenance after project completion. IT service companies aid in aligning clients’ business objectives, applying relevant solutions, thereby helping them solvetheir IT challenges.

A similar tale occurred back in 2006 when a Singapore government organizationengaged the services ofGenesis, an IT services provider, to supply an integrated security access control system for the IMF and World Bank Meeting held in Singapore. The grueling project comprised13 secured sites, 80 access control stations and 24x7 technical support services was managed diligentlyby the company to meet the stringent SLAs. Allen Lee, Managing Directorsays, “This success showcased our commitment, perseverance, teamwork and ability to handle large projects. It also created a good reference for the company and eventually helpeduswin many large multi-million IT tenders from the government.”

Founded in 2001, Genesis started as a system integrator with expertise in building and maintaining LAN, WAN, SAN, wired and wireless infrastructures. The company has gradually added data centre and software engineering into its portfolio to deliver enterprise turnkey IT projects.

Many organizations have come to realize that the best way to improve productivity in the marketplace is through consistent adoption and selection of the right technology.

Genesis Networks continues to polish and deliver base matured services such as IT infrastructure projects, disaster recovery and business continuity, new capabilities in big data, business analytics, cloud hosting and managed security services pave the future of the company

As a leadingservice provider in Singapore, Genesis stands out for itsforesight and progressive adoption of new technologies. Whilst the companycontinues to polish and deliver base matured services such as IT infrastructure projects, disaster recovery and business continuity, new capabilities inbig data, business analytics, cloud hosting and managed security services pave the future of the company.

Genesis’ partnership with industry heavyweights and technology leaders such as DELL, IBM, Cisco, Microsoft, Proficio, VMware, Veeam, Aruba and Fortinet provided many training opportunities for its sales and technical personnel to be empoweredwith updated skills and knowledge. Allen proudly mentions, “In Genesis, time is the only limiting factor; there are no limits to training opportunities.”

Genesis is a long time corporate sponsor and supporter of the Yellow Ribbon Project (YRP), a movement which aims to give ex-prisoners and offenders a second chance in life. This and other initiatives such as the creation and sponsorship of Singapore Management University’s Genesis Networks Bursary for needy students, are part of the company’s social outreach initiatives, building a caring, compassionate and kind corporate culture.

With the intent to diversify its service offering and spearheading IT development in Singapore, Genesis is focusing on solutions and technologies surrounding Smart Nation development. Allen concludes, “We hope this focus will support Singapore’s aim of becoming the first Smart Nation country and thereby helping to improve the lives of people.”
