Infoquick Global Connection Tech: Deploying Network with SD-WAN Technology

CIO VendorEric Gu, Founder & CEO
Real-time data exchange between setups based in different countries often share resources, which also requires retaining well-organised data transition in order to help enterprises better tap their data. When it comes to performance, stability, and security of data transition, traditional data connections fail to meet the requirements of businesses creating need for advanced and secured solutions. Infoquick Global Connection Tech, a China-based company, offers Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD–WAN) solution which deploys network for data transfer with high performance.

The SD-WAN solution blends the software technology with traditional network resources to enhance the performance and help enterprises progress their business through real-time optimisation. SD-WAN can be deployed very fast and can accelerate the data quickly, and has high business agility. Infoquick provides solutions for international connections as well as domestic connections to transfer data.

For international connections, headquarters and branch offices of companies around the world can join the nearest Infoquick's PoP (Point of Presence), a copy team with overseas companies. PoP is built into the level T3+ data centre. These are the data centres that have higher security process. It’s not easy to hack them owing to extended security. “We have global certifications - SSAE 16 and SOC II to ensure security,” remarks Eric Gu, Founder and CEO, Infoquick Global Connection Tech.

SD-WAN technology also provides security for the last mile connection setting up an IPsec VPN through existing Internet and PoP.

SD-WAN can be deployed very fast and can accelerate the data quickly, and has high business agility

Most enterprises have their own firewall and SD-WAN hold the capability to incorporate all kinds of firewall and provide network security with UTM firewall.

Detailing network related challenges faced by organisations, Eric mentions latency, cheaters, and packet loss on the Internet as the common problems faced in overseas connections while transferring data to the cloud. He claims to have established SD-WAN in the organisation to solve these problems. SD-WAN can accelerate OLTP and OAPP data and improve the performance of the network optimisation services and reduce latency. SD-WAN uses cables along with a software technology to optimise the data which assures stability, and maintains long-term stable TCP connection, zero data loss as well as intelligent dynamic routing. To ensure the accuracy of data transmission, it provides the fastest and most reliable route.

Infoquick has successfully delivered SD-WAN solutions to various companies dealing with internal data connectivity within the enterprise, international real-time video conference, financial enterprise managing data synchronisation, and international cloud data center. One of its clients, Fosun, a China-based investment group, had to deal with On-line Transaction Processing (OLTP) data and On-line Analytical Processing (OAPP) data, which cannot be optimised and accelerated by traditional networks like PDN, VPN or international cables. They were unable to connect to their overseas clients. Infoquick’s SD-WAN technology helped them to have a unified network to connect to enterprise’s branch offices through real- time video conferencing. In many such instances, Infoquick has been of great help for its clients.

The company also has cloud solutions in its portfolio which include China AWS and Overseas AWS. SD-WAN solution connects AWS China with other overseas AWS. Virtual machines are used inside the AWS other than physical PoPs like server, switches or routers inside data centers. Controllers are deployed in AWS which helps to access the applications on the AWS. SD-WAN solution then identifies the application and optimises it.
