Cyber espionage is keeping government agencies on their toes to defend and protect critical information. To cordon cyber criminals, agencies have framed stringent data protection policies. Singapore’s enforcement of Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) in 2014 regulates the flow of personal data among organisations and has increased public awareness on data protection. As our role is that of a data intermediary, under the PDPA, we are bound by the Protection and Retention Limitation obligations,” asserts Chia.

IPTECH successfully demonstrated its capabilities in a major closing event for SG50 celebrations that witnessed a footfall of over 400,000 visitors in 100 days. The company was able to manage high traffic website with online registrations deploying high security and hosting redundancy over 100 GB of dedicated bandwidth leveraging Sitefinity CMS coupled with MICE solutions. The company’s Exhibition and Events solutions have been leveraged by various Gov/ Public sector event projects including The Singapore Summit, Tourism Industry Conference, Singapore International Transport Congress and Ex-hibition, and Singapore International Energy Week.
