ISFnet: Multi-lingual Tech Workforce for IT Services

    President,Yukiyoshi Watanabe, ISFnetYukiyoshi Watanabe, President
The notion of IT at its core is about traversing across boundaries, to connect people, enterprises and functions— as varied as they may be—under the fabric of digitization. As such, IT service companies can be regarded as the tailors of outfits that render enterprises as entities, cut out to excel at delivering innovative solutions and service lines that address market needs.

To help businesses knit-through, stitch, and patch their tech-trendy cum relevant and rather ‘fashionable’ outfits, IT service integrators use multi-technology expertise and talented workforce as their needle and thread. One such renowned player is ISFnet, an MNC originally based out of Japan, which has become the go-to outlet and a household name when it comes to tailoring and maintaining IT solutions. The company brings in the wisdom of operating for nearly two decades in the space.

“We have around 2000 in-house engineers working with us, and our service can be provided 24/7 in multiple languages. We can support clients from the planning stage to implementation followed by maintenance and support. This total solution can be provided nationwide and globally if required, all by our in-house engineers,” says Yukiyoshi Watanabe, President of Global Strategic Development at ISFnet.

When it comes to the company’s skilled workforce, ISFnet lays huge emphasis on the ‘morality’ they hold, given their engineers are exposed to sensitive and core information of the organizations that they work for.

Even at the time of recruiting and training their workforce, the company ensures that morality is taught thoroughly.

“We value candidates’ credibility as a person, as well as their skills and knowledge as engineers. Our unique business/training model which develops engineers skills from scratch, enables us to acquire over 500 engineers annually despite the market trend facing a severe shortage of engineers,” adds Watanabe. The company has strategically proceeded to train their engineers with cloud-native technologies such that they can cater to clients globally. The company also hires approximately 200 non-Japanese engineers from across 20 countries, which has not only enabled them to expand their business across Asia, but also make ISFnet very unique in the Japanese market. Currently, ISFnet has several renowned MNCs as their clients from countries such as South Korea, India, and China.

In addition, when it comes to solutions delivery, ISFnet can walk their clients all the way from planning, implementation, to nationwide support. Be it networking, core IT, or the ever- relevant cloud and big data analytics stack, ISFnet projects expertise in all.

The company holds a variety of partnerships with technology providers such as ATOS, HP, Cisco, and Oracle to name a few. As a result, irrespective of the type of IT environments their clients may be on, ISFnet can cater to any of their requirements. On the cloud side, the company has helped numerous clients with migration, on-premise setups, service customization, and client training.

“At the moment, we have five major migration projects of on-premise to cloud and to Windows 10. There are clients who want radical change in the IT system, and ISFnet can fulfill that requirement,” says Watanabe with pride. To build upon its legacy and maintain their edge in the market, ISFnet is also honing their engineer’s skills pertaining to new-age technologies such as IoT and AI that are already taking the enterprise sphere by storm.
