The congruence of physical and digital worlds paves the way for a new genre of technology, one that improvises on the usability of enterprise applications through intuitive and engaging methodologies. “Today, industry leaders such as CIOs and CEOs are transcending from mobility-driven solutions and venturing into Augmented/ Virtual Reality (AR/VR) to bridge the gap between the physical and digital worlds in a seamless and cost-effective manner,” states Leo Lau, co-founder of Joy Aether. This amalgamation prompts organizations to cater to their customers’ needs effectively by collaborating with industry leaders such as Joy Aether, leading the disruption through mobility-driven solution sets.

Joy Aether has taken significant leaps in AR and offline-to-onilne (O2O) segments. Reflecting on some of these endeavors, Lau introduces the term Digital Interactive of Things (DIoT), which substantiates the developmental work carried out in the digital interactive landscape. In their efforts to nurture such an interactive ecosystem, the Joy Aether team brings to the table a multitude of professional mobile consulting services that span across AR/VR, manufacturing, iPad Interactive Sales-kit Solutions, IoT applications, mobile learning, toys, healthcare, and event management. Joy Aether’s portfolio can be exemplified through its image recognition systems that are capable of providing comprehensive information sets from physical objects, utilizing cameras available on smartphones. This principle of bridging the physical and virtual worlds is also applicable to retail promotions, event management, and logistics operations; with Joy Aether’s SnapPop, property projects can be shown in three dimensions using AR techniques.
By merely pointing at an object and utilizing the sophistication of DIoT, Joy Aether is capable of delivering insights that seamlessly integrate both physical and digital worlds, unlocking the potential of providing relevant information to customers. “We aspire to bring the online and offline worlds closer to each other by utilizing the technology of smartphones that are already available to everyone. Smartphones offer not only the hardware required but also the computational power needed to develop solutions that help users reap the rewards of the technological innovations,” adds Lau. Joy Aether’s emphasis on the importance of mobility has been reiterated through its collaborative strides. The company recently partnered with one of the largest banks in the Asia Pacific region to develop a ‘loan centre mobile app’ that delivers a convenient one-stop-shop loan solution for users. The ingenuity of the application is that the users are needed to complete just three simple steps for the processing of loans. It allows the users to fill in loan applications automatically, wherein, they are only required to capture a picture of the personal identification documents. Thereafter, the application gets approved within a minute, allowing the users to upload the necessary documents with a single click instantaneously. This collaboration delivers an easy and interactive experience with no boundaries of time or distance for the customers, shedding light on Joy Aether and its client’s efforts in addressing customer requirements without requiring them to travel to the brick and mortar establishments of banks.

Joy Aether also collaborated with a visual artist to bring her sculptures from the real world to the virtual world, reaching out to a greater audience. Similar to this engagement, Joy Aether has successfully commemorated numerous AR projects—some of which are in the AR toys segment—unlocking the true value of augmented reality in areas such as education and interactive learning. The company recently launched a website dedicated to AR toys that assist parents in providing enjoyable learning experiences to children while adding an element of fun to the process. Through this advancement, Joy Aether aims to collaborate with toy manufacturers worldwide, in order to deliver greater value to their customers by offering AR toys. “AR technology can deliver an amazing experience to customers while empowering organizations with the capability to demonstrate their products and solutions in a more vivid and intuitive manner. We aim to harness that power and merge the real and digital worlds together,” concludes Lau.
