MariApps: Charting business voyages with Integrated Marine solutions

    Sankar Raghavan,CEO, MariAppsSankar Raghavan, CEO
Enterprise resource planning or ERP for short over the years has injected itself into almost every business vertical that exists today. Most of this influence comes from the unlimited possibilities for increased potential that this system fosters within businesses. With the demand for expert resource planning and management systems being constantly on the rise, ERP solutions providers are finding this particular situation to go a lot in their favour and have done their best to meet the market standards. The APAC region in particular has been a sprawling hub for companies of all sorts of contrasts. From small scale brick and mortar companies to huge multinational conglomerates, the Asia-Pacific is home to a multitude of infrastructures that are constantly seeking to develop their service competencies. Mariapps is a company that aims to aid the organizations within the maritime industry of the APAC to achieve this goal. Based in Singapore this ERP solutions provider specializes in offering integrated marine solutions to the various maritime industries in the APAC region aiding them in organizing their complex infrastructure which involves resources both dynamic and stationary and both on land and at sea.

“The motive behind the inception of this company was to build an industry best ERP that could solve all current and potential future challenges in the ship management and ship owning space,” notes Sankar Raghavan, CEO, MariaApps. The absence of a single system to solve issues has forced shipping companies to rely heavily on 3rd party systems which are disconnected and often fail to gather intelligence and share data within their organizations. MariApps’ full ERP suite was built particularly to address this issue. The ERP suit which is capable of covering the entire gamut of ship owning and management functions, enables companies to enhance their business potential while reducing costs. To further improve clients’ business potencies,

MariApps is currently working towards integrating its systems with the latest on-board communications systems to create a single offering that will enable customers to procure hardware, software and communications setups in one single box.

Conceived in 2014 MariApps has shown huge promise and has established itself as a major provider of ERP solutions to the shipping industry. Despite being headquartered in Singapore, MariApps operates largely in the APACregion through its development centre in Kochi, India which houses a contingent of 120 highly skilled professionals. This centre enables MariApps to develop solutions using state of the art Microsoft technologies. The company through all the resources at its disposal is able to deliver services that are flexible to the customers’ needs be it in the web or mobile platform.

The PALe3 suite uses a modular plug and play approach that covers the full range of ship management software application requirements

For the web MariApps offers the PALe3 suite and consulting which will enable the establishment of a world class IT infrastructure which is more than capable of supporting not just the PALe3 suite but all future technology needs. The PALe3 suite uses a modular plug and play approach that covers the full range of ship management software application requirements.
