Talent retention is one of the major challenges faced by enterprise leaders today. In this scenario, enterprises have to ensure that the employees—a significant chunk of whom are millennials and Gen Z—remain motivated, loyal, and perform to their true potential. The modern workforce seeks value and respect through their mentors and is eager to embrace challenging assignments that brings out the best in them. Therefore there is a need for a transparent HR management system that recognizes them and boosts their self-esteem. With vast experience in eLearning, academics, and consulting for talent management ME Educational Technologies and Consultancy Services (MEETCS) has developed an innovative platform, TalenTicks that is based on gamification.

“The capabilities of the human mind are enormous and given a platform, everyone can outperform themselves, every time,” says Prof. Dr. Ela Goyal, Co-Founder of MEETCS. To this end, TalentTicks brings in engagement and encouragement at work while not missing out on the talent lifecycle management that includes planning, talent acquisition, and retention. The platform has enabled organizations to bring openness with all stakeholders through its survey and feedback module which helps organizations to reach out to their workforce, clients, and their customers—centrally. This certainly is a paradigm shift from the traditional approach in the human workforce management arena.

“The TalenTicks platform differentiates itself in the market by helping organizations develop and nurture human capital,” says Dr. Mahendra Gupta, Co-Founder of the company. The platform comprises an integrated learning management system that aids clients in their knowledge and skills upgrade journey.

The platform’s users can earn points on the successful completion of training, certification, workshops, updating their knowledge, skills database, and other related activities.

Furthermore, the platform can also be configured to capture employee participation and engagement within the organization—such as bringing in innovative ideas, or representing the organization in conferences—and reward them with points. Additionally, with the platform’s online redemption center, users can redeem the points that they have earned and ensure that they showcase their loyalty towards the organization to the world, as the system provides social media integration.

Dr. Goyal notes an instance wherein MEETCS was able to help a small services organization overcome the hurdles they were facing in employee retention and customer satisfaction. With dispersed systems, the clients could not consolidate relevant information to assess individual and team performance, and customer satisfaction. MEETCS customized TalenTicks to bring all of it together in one platform, where regular tests/quizzes could be conducted online to assess teams’ awareness on customers’ business and process. These test scores were then captured along with customer call performance scores and employee attendance. These results gauged workplace effectiveness and helped the client promote a transparent system for rewards and incentives. “Within months, their employee retention levels went up by more than 90 percent while their customer satisfaction reported an increase of 23 percent,” adds Dr. Goyal.

MEETCS is a bootstrapped startup that has won many laurels from its existing client base and is expanding, thanks to the word of mouth referrals. The company plans to take their offerings worldwide, primarily to developed countries and is scouting for channel partners and sales organizations in this endeavor. On the technological forefront, TalenTicks is expanding its capabilities to include AI bot, attrition predictor, innovation board, insightful analytics through big data, and enhancing mobile compatibility. Furthermore, MEETCS offers various products and services for recruitment, placement tests, free placement preparation course, psychometric assessments, training, counseling, consulting, and software development.
