SINGAPORE: Accenture collaborates with Brandtone- a mobile marketing platform- and announces the launch of a next generation trade promotion solution. This is an initiative taken to aid consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies in Asia Pacific by increasing their visibility, management and control of their promotional campaigns.
CPG companies work closely with distributors to reach over 12 million traders across Asia and Asia Pacific is growing to become a huge market of both traditional and independent traders. This new solution will provide CPG companies with direct access to all of their existing traders and have a control over acquiring new retailers within the trade channel. The solution will help launch promotional campaigns faster, with more precision and control using real time performance data, empowering them to grow sales and acquire new retailers.
The solution uses Accenture’s Route to Market solution which combines strategy, operations and technology for commercial intelligence and analytics, commercial strategy and planning, trade investment excellence and sales effectiveness, offering end-to-end services.
Route to Market solution (RMS)
RMS is built around the Accenture CAS, Accenture NewsPage software and the Accenture Analytics Platform designed exclusively for the CPG industry, and can be delivered as hosted or on-premise solutions. This can be provisioned using Accenture’s Global Delivery Network and is combined with Brandtone’s Trader Solution that provides mobile and data-driven marketing services. RMS enables accelerated transformation of CPG sales and trade marketing processes. It provides the business capabilities to sense and respond to marketplace demand and improve execution at the point of sale.
“The consumer goods and services industry will grow by as much as US$700 billion globally by 2020, with nearly 50 percent, or US$340 billion, of this growth coming from Asia. The opportunity for CPG companies to grow is immense. Brandtone’s proven model combined with Accenture’s global scale, pace and deep analytics capabilities provide a unique proposition for our clients in the region and can help them to get and stay ahead of their competition,” says Teo Correia, Senior Managing Director, Accenture Consumer Goods and Services.
