Accounting & Finance Show for SMES Launches in Singapore in October 2018

    Apac CIOOutlook | Thursday, January 01, 1970
    Tweet

Singapore: Digital technology is revolutionising accounting and financial management. Cloud accounting and a plethora of new applications, software and services are streamlining processes and making the accounting and finance team more efficient. And this revolution isn’t just happening in large enterprises with big budgets, it’s also happening in SMEs. Small and medium sized businesses now have access to world class financial solutions that are low cost, scalable and mobile.

The Accounting and Finance Show brings together the latest technology and solutions, the experts, the SME’s and the accountancy practices, advisors and consultants.  Running at Suntec Convention Centre on the 16-17 October 2018, the show is:

     • A showcase of the world’s best accounting and finance technology solutions
     • 150 “how to” presentations from local finance experts
     • Live demo’s where buyers can fully assess solutions in just 2 days
     • 1,500 attendees from SMEs and accountancy practices in Singapore

Sharon Roessen, MD of event organiser Terrapinn said, “With finance and accountancy under-going digital transformation globally, new technologies are improving workflow and increasing productivity but SMEs are unaware of the possibilities and are reluctant to change. Finance Managers and Accountants fear their jobs will be replaced, yet the reality is, the technology can elevate their skills and secure their positions. The aim of the is show is to bring the latest technology solutions for the finance function and showcase and demo them to SMEs. But to also run a large education programme for finance teams in SME’s. To make the content completely accessible to SME’s, we are offering all 6 tracks entirely for free”

Each of the 6 theatres will feature 24 twenty-minute presentations on:

     • Digital Innovation
     • Money in Money out
     • Accounting for Business and bookkeeping
     • Practice management
     • Business in the cloud
     • Future Finance

“We’re pleased to be partnering with the inaugural Accounting and Finance Show in Singapore this year,” says Alex Campbell, Managing Director Asia at Xero. “As the government continues to support the digitisation of Singapore’s economy, we see it as our mission to help small businesses and accountants alike to join this journey and embrace technology. This is about enabling small businesses and accountants to completely transform the way they do business, because they are vital to growing the nation’s economy. Xero’s presentations at the Accounting and Finance Show will span across both days and focus on helping small businesses and accountants develop key skills needed for the digital future. Attendees will also have the opportunity to experience the power of our connected ecosystem consisting of our global platform, apps, partners, integrated banks and customers.”

Xero joins the event as Title sponsor. Other sponsors and exhibitors who are participating include Oracle Netsuite, Zoho, Sage, Autocount, Datamolino, DKT Business Services, Esker, Justlogin, Nexia TS, Practice Ignition, Precursor, Receipt Bank, Rockbell, StoneForest, SuiteFiles and The World Management.
