NORWOOD, MA: Analog Devices Inc. (ADI) partners with China Electric Power Research Institute (CEPRI) to buttress the reliability of smart substations. The collaboration will develop a joint laboratory to drive innovations in smart substations for better productivity and efficiency.
API improves the visibility and control of electric power systems and further develops innovative applications to enhance reliability in signal processing and sensing technologies. The collaboration integrates CEPRI’s expertise in the analysis ofelectrical systems with ADI’s smart energy capabilities to address the challenges of smart substations and help them embrace digitalization.
The two companies will also create innovative solutions, hold technical workshops, and draft international standards to provide real-time insights for power automation and incorporate continuous improvement in resiliency and reliability of smart substations.
