AEB and ISC Global Partner to Deliver Optimized Supply Chain Solutions

SINGAPORE: AEB, a provider of information technology and services, and ISC-a logistics and supply chain solutions and services provider- announce partnership to deliver optimized operations, visibility and control in global supply chain management.

The partnership between AEB and ISC Global enable businesses to achieve better supply chain efficiency in the areas of procurement, customer satisfaction, inventory management, supply chain cost management, and risk management.

Supply chains are increasingly getting more complex as cost pressures, competition, market shifts, regulatory changes, and customer demands increase. In order to help companies realize increased service levels, reduced costs and lesser risks, seamless and smooth functioning of organizational and operational processes and effective supply chain visibility is required. The complexity of modern supply chains can only be simplified through comprehensive hands-on supply chain know-how and visibility. In this perspective, IT structures play a significant role to provide the necessary support needed across networks.

ISC provides traditional logistics services, independent solution and process consultancy, and tax and duty optimization, focusingon the system integration of logistics providers through control tower management structures. The services offered by ISC include transport, warehouse management, supply chain planning & control, tax optimized supply chain, green supply chain, customs related supply chain, supply chain security, supply chain risk management and reverse logistics.

AEB provides logistics and customs software solutions for companies.  AEB’s portfolio of solutions includes- providing IT support from procurement to fulfillment for all intralogistics processes, resulting in the merging of global trade and logistics functionalities in one solution suite.

The partnership aims to use both AEB and ISC’s services and solutions to provide custom-tailored solutions for supply chain optimization.

AEB solutions and ISC services support businesses from the start of the process at point of sourcing: ISC commences with fact finding and analysis, defining clear specifications to develop and manage RFQ processes. Once providers are identified and processes, roles and responsibilities are defined on the basis of a total cost of ownership approach, ISC conveys the integration roadmap to its customers. Once implementation is complete and operations are up and running , ISC’s Control Tower team groups and coordinates suppliers while AEB’s Visibility & Collaboration Platform monitors the process through seamless integration.

“The Visibility and Collaboration Platform is a fabulous and comprehensive tool, which supports daily operational activities of the Control Tower to achieve greater efficiency and transparency,” says Udo Westphal, Singapore-based Managing Director of ISC Far East. “Together, we focus on the total cost of ownership and converting fixed supply chain costs into variable costs for our customers while providing complete visibility and security. This – and our continuous improvement philosophy – allows customers to concentrate on their core business while operations are managed in a precise, efficient, and cost effective manner.”
