SANTA CLARA, CA: Agilent Technologies announces the launch of its Technology Center in Folsom, California will house approximately 60 additional staff. It is built on an area of 53,000 square-feet with state-of-the-art customer applications laboratory and collaboration space.
The new centre helps supply scientific consumables and supplies to laboratories worldwide, involved in various fields like cancer research, testing the quality and safety of food, water and pharmaceuticals. The new Folsom facility supports Agilent’s new Intuvo 9000 GC system and consumables products, the introduction of which has transformed gas chromatography – making it easier for Agilent to use. It lowers the cost of ownership, enhancing lab productivity without compromising performance. The latest initiative aims to make the analytical laboratory more productive and efficient by providing higher quality data.
"I am extremely pleased to see the completion of this additional space,” says Henrik Ancher-Jensen, President, Order Fulfillment and Supply Chain, Agilent. “This new facility expands Agilent’s capabilities for chromatography consumables and hardware, which are used in laboratories around the world and for critical health, safety and product quality decisions.”
