Hong Kong: PayEase, an independent third-party payment platform in China, announces the support to support business apps that accept payment through Apple Pay.
Since the launch of Apple Pay, the number of mobile purchases have increased. PayEase as a partner with Apple Pay will provide integrated payment solutions for vendors using Apple Pay. PayEase will also quickly open up payment channels for more vendors to accept Apple Pay as a payment platform.
Apple Pay is a mobile payment and digital wallet service by Apple that enables users make payments using the iPhone 6, 6 Plus, and later, Apple Watch-compatible devices, iPad Air 2, iPad Pro and iPad Mini 3 and later. Apple Pay allows mobile devices to make payments at contactless points of sale and in iOS apps. It digitizes and replaces the credit or debit card chip and PIN or magnetic stripe transaction at point-of-sale terminals.
The Apple Pay provides security and privacy to the customer during purchases. When Apple Pay adds a credit or debit card, the actual card number is neither stored on the device nor on Apple's servers. The accounting system assigns a unique Device Account Number that is encrypted and secured to safely store the information in the Secure Element security chip. Every transaction uses a unique, one-time dynamic security code for authorization.
"We strongly believe that Apple Pay will become widely used and are very happy to support merchants accepting this more secure and convenient new payment platform," says Mr Kino Kwok, General Manager of PayEase.
