Artificial Intelligence and Robotics: Strong Weapons to Defeat Friction!!

    Apac CIOOutlook | Friday, December 06, 2019
    Tweet

Friction has its presence everywhere, from Earth to the Vacuum of outer space. Artificial Intelligence, along with Robotics, is being employed to fight the friction, which is one of the defining factors of the decade

Fremont, CA: Friction on Earth is claimed to create a mess of commerce as well as payments, which is mostly due to the excited customers, who are ready to spend their time and money on the things they desire to have. Artificial intelligence, coupled with robotics, is anticipated to develop a weapon to fight against friction, that defines payment and commerce actions. Although being in the early stage, Artificial intelligence and Robotics are likely to have a dynamic impact in a number of cases, owing to their fast paced growth.

One of the key players in tech funding, SoftBank, has invested 30 million dollars in the Series A funding on the five-year-old Accel Robotics. The robotics company is developing Artificial intelligence and computer vision to checkout-free stores, to streamline the past data as well as the new consumer data.

The e-commerce operators are playing an important role in solidifying the command over the home commerce ecosystem, with the help of the voice-activated devices and through quick home deliveries through the connected home appliances. The significant growth in the Internet of Things (IoT) has provided a boost to the home-based ecosystem for the retail and payments, paving the way for growth and development of Artificial intelligence and robotics by the year 2020.

Major players such as Google are taking initiatives to bring artificial intelligence and robotic vision to commerce and payments ecosystems. In November 2019, Google announced that with the help of Duplex in Google Assistant, one could book dinner, movie, date nights, and other such things. Such efforts made by major market players are anticipated to boost the growth of Artificial intelligence and robotics.
