BOSTON, MA: Strategy Analytics unveils a latest report on the growth of mobile enterprise software market and finds it to grow to $128 billion in the forecast period 2016-2022. The report "Global Mobile Enterprise Business Applications Revenue Forecast 2016-2022” foresees the global mobile workforce to generate revenues close to $1.87 billion in the forecast period.

The report states that expansion of 4G and Wi-Fi resulting in uninterrupted internet connectivity has been a major boost for the growth of enterprise software market. The enterprisemobile app stores enable the workers to download mobile applications. The enterprises are further deploying new innovative business tools to incorporate digitalization and meet the changing customer needs, reports Strategy Analytics.

According to Gina Luk, Senior Analyst and author of the Strategy Analytics Mobile Workforce Strategies (MWS) reports, "Collaboration/productivity applications such as corporate email, messaging and conferencing have the highest mobile use overall among mobile workers, while the CRM category has the second highest use overall among mobile workers and they are primarily relevant to those workers focused on sales and field service activities, which tend to be well represented in the mobile workforce, but the ERP category has the lowest use overall among mobile workers. This is because they are primarily relevant to only those workers who are focused on these business activities which tend to be centered in corporate headquarters and other fixed locations such as production facilities."
