Human emotions are organic algorithms responding to their environment, which are shaped by their culture, upbringing and life experiences. But in real life situations, are humans that emotionally intelligent? People engage in pointless fights, arguments which go against their biases.

They judge based on their prejudices. While humans continue to struggle to understand each other, emotion artificial intelligence (emotion AI) is evolving better at manipulating humans, there is a near future where people submit their lives to AI algorithms. It is already seen in practice. Just look around, almost everyone is glued to smart technologies. It seems an era is approaching where Artificial Intelligence uses humans as organic robots.

In recent years AI vendors have moved to completely new areas and industries where they offer varied applications of emotion AI. These include video gaming. The world of the game becomes more twisted when it detects and adopts emotions through facial expressions during gaming. The latest updates expand a game's capability by incorporating emotion recognition software which tracks players' response through the web camera they are using and further alter what happens on screen. Emotion AI has its application in medical diagnosis too. Here AI supported emotional intelligence would be efficient to understand vocal cues which in effect can diagnose diseases like depression and dementia.

Also, classrooms equipped with cameras can recognize the emotions of students and provide an emotion tracking system. This is made possible with emotionally artificial intelligent learning software prototypes. As the demands for workplace safety solutions are on rising emotion AI enables organizations in analyzing stress and anxiety levels of employees. It attempts to improve happiness in the workplace. It facilitates emotion detecting sensors, algorithms that measure the smile etc,

A 'nurse bot' is the next big thing offered by emotion AI. It monitors well being every day. Emotional Artificial Intelligence has a big role in self-driving cars where it is possible to give suggestions based on the driver's emotional state. In this drowsiness could be triggered and alerted.

As insurance fraud is big a business there are AI-powered face and behavior analysis software which detects fraudulent claims. Using voice analysis insurance companies can detect false claims of customers for gaining coverage. Recruiters have also started accumulating software for job interviews to assess the credibility of candidates. It also powers call centers in detecting angry customers, who can be routed to well-trained customer representatives. Virtual Personal Assistants(VPA) are popular among people. Adding emotion sensing capabilities will improve VPA services which will result in an enhanced user experience.

Counties like the United Arab Emirates which have a Ministry of Happiness uses AI in order to capture the general mood of the population. This is made possible through facilitating cameras in public places. In the retail sector AI is perceived positively for customer interactions in order to make customer service consumer friendly.

However, there are barriers to adoption safeguarding emotion data and transparent management can promise more surprising abilities of emotion AI.
