Biopharma Development & Production Week China 2017 was held at the Hilton Shanghai Hongqiao Hotel on 16 -17 May. The conference was hosted by IBC Asia, bringing together 3 co-located events:the 6th Cell Line Development & Engineering Asia, 7th Biomanufacturing, 8th Biosimilars Asia, as well as an industry equipment exhibition. The event saw a total of 380+ attendees gathered for both days.
Fantastic Lineup of Industry Speakers
As one of the most influential events in the industry, more than 70 heavyweight experts in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology fields and over 400 biopharmaceutical industry leaders were present. Industry speakers provided the audience with great insights through case studies focused on innovative technology, safety and quality control of production and R&D practices, application for biologics licensing, and other key issues.With high levels of interaction between speakers and attendees, the event was very meaningful and memorable for many!

Exciting Time at the Exhibition Hall
This year’s exhibition saw a total of 41 exhibitors from Merck, Sartorius, Pall Life Sciences, BD, ABEC, Bruker, Applitech Pharma, Molecular Devices, Genscript, Perkin Elmer, Spectrum Labs, Kingsley, Sansheng Guojian Pharmaceutical, NNE, Bio-G, and other well-known enterprises in the local & international markets. Visitors to the exhibition hall were engaged through a series of activities coordinated by IBC Asia, creating an environment of interaction, networking and an element of fun.
At the conference, Sartorius took the opportunity to release its latest bioreactor equipment and other ancillary products that attracted the interest of many attendees.
Tea break Networking Opportunities
Across the two-day conference, a total of 12 tea breaks were arrangedfor attendees to maximize their networking opportunities with fellow participants. Round-table seating areas were specially set up within the exhibition hall for attendees to discuss key issues and share their experiences. Many exhibitors and visitors felt that the exhibition provided a great platform for them to promote their brand and expand their reach to their target audience.
