Brocade Expands Operations in China with New Joint Venture
The new company, GHTC will combine Brocade’s networking solutions and Guiyang's expertise in Big Data to help customers modernize and transform their networks in to platforms of business advancements and development.

GUIYANG, CHINA: Brocade, a provider of storage networking services and solutions, and Guiyang High-Tech Industrial Investment Group (HTII) announce signing of a joint venture agreement to establish Guizhou Huiling Technology Company (GHTC).
The new company, GHTC will combine Brocade’s networking solutions and Guiyang's expertise in Big Data to help customers modernize and transform their networks in to platforms of business advancements and development. GHTC will deliver Brocade’s portfolio of switches, routers, and storage networking infrastructure to the local government, state-owned organizations, universities, and enterprises.
GHTC will also leverage Brocade’s IP networking solutionssuch as software-defined networking, network functions virtualization and mobile networking solutions to help establish the Guizhou Network Virtualization Research and Training Center. This center aims to support local R&D efforts and work with the local government, its partners and Brocade to develop high-tech talent in the region.
GHTC is 51 percent owned by HTII and 49% owned by Brocade and will also become a member of the Guizhou Big Data Industry Alliance for technology transfer and deployment.
