FREMONT, CA: BT, an enterprise communication service and solutions provider, announces the availability of Salesforce to its corporate customers through BT Cloud Connect. The expansion establishes a dedicated connectivity with Salesforce, offering customers of BT a highly predictable performance and reliability.
BT Cloud Connect is a high-performance network connectivity to cloud services.
Organizations are expeditiously moving towards cloud environments that include Salesforce Customer Success Platform and they need direct and secure access to the data and applications, through connectivity options free from risks, and with assured performance.
Salesforce Customer Success Platform offers fully connected mobile and social tools powered by cloud. The platform bridges the gap between companies and customers through sales, customer service, marketing, communities, apps and analytics. The platform allows businesses to generate leads, acquire new customers, close deals faster, and sell, service and market smarter. It provides granular control over a multitude of applications from user authentication to data access offering multi-layered data security.
BT’s ‘Cloud of Clouds’ vision allows customers to connect easily and securely to data and applications they need regardless of where they are hosted.
The Cloud Connect facilitates customers to connect faster to a new cloud service provider or to implement a new cloud application. It offers improved performance, in-built enterprise security and low cost connectivity.
“Organizations look to the cloud to help them manage and access of valuable data they hold, including the crucial customer data at the core of their business,” says Keith Langridge , VC, Network Services, BT Global Services. “our vision for a ‘Cloud of Clouds’ makes it easier for organizations to embrace the cloud by providing direct, secure and high performance connectivity to the applications hosted in the cloud. Salesforce is an organisation born of the cloud – a true pioneer of the technology – so this is an important milestone in the delivery of our vision.”
