Cialfo’s Pre-Series A Funding Aims at Asian Market Footprint Expansion

SINGAPORE: Cialfo, a Singapore based educational consultant, raises pre-Series A Funding for product development, recruitment and expanding its services to China, India, and Southeast Asia. The Edtech start up is adopting software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform to enlarge its services all over Asia.
Cialfo creates an online platform along with expert guidance to connect the students across the top universities in U.S. and U.K. According to the Institute of International Education (IIE), around 627,306 Asian students got admission in U.S. in 2014-2015. A total of 304,040 were from China, while the rest 132,888 were fromIndia. The British Council estimates around 493,570 international students got placed in U.K. in 2013-2014, of which 18.8 percent and 4.3 percent were from China and India respectively. The numbers of students are expected to double by 2025. .
The numbers of students getting placed, through Cialfo, have increased to 27 percent compared to 2015. A majority of students gets through to the college of their choice in Singapore.
