Students across Australia will benefit from Cybint and Academy IT's cooperation by receiving in-person and online cybersecurity training for workforce development.

FREMONT, CA: Beginning September 2021, Cybint, a global cyber education training firm, will collaborate with Academy IT, a technical training provider located in South Australia, to deliver the Cybint Cybersecurity Bootcamp online and in-person, ushering in a new era of cyber education in Australia and in addition to the boot camps, providing corporate training discussions for B2B solutions.

Since the outbreak of the pandemic, the number of intrusions on Australia's cyber network has increased. In 2020, there were more than 60,000 reports of cybercrime from people and businesses. According to the Australian Cyber Security Centre, Australians reported an average of 164 cybercrimes per day in 2021. Australia's economy bears the cost of cybercrime. Cyber-related attacks are estimated to cost the economy 29 billion dollars each year, or 1.9 percent of the country's GDP. Tensions are high, and Australia is in desperate need of approximately 27,200 cybersecurity professionals to fill open roles.

Academy IT, a Microsoft Certified Partner - Learning and a Nationally Accredited Registered Training Organisation (RTO), will be offering the Cybint Bootcamp to students across Australia to satisfy this need and narrow this gap. Graduates of the Cybint Bootcamp will be prepared for entry-level cybersecurity jobs and will be able to protect themselves and their companies from growing cyber threats. Students who opt to participate in the B2B corporate training talks will better understand the role that each team member plays in safeguarding their company from a cyber assault.

"This is the beginning of great progress in the cybersecurity space across all regions of Australia," says Roy Zur, Founder, and CEO of Cybint. "Our mission aligns with Academy IT, and together we will ensure that good cybersecurity practices become widespread as the cyber gap is filled."

"We pride ourselves in providing the best personalised face-to-face and online technical training in South Australia," says Brian Peel, CEO and Managing Director of Academy IT. "We are pleased to expand our offering through this partnership with Cybint, which will ultimately create real impact both for the students, and for the local businesses and government of Australia as graduates pursue their respective careers."
