NEWYORK: Digital Realty, a provider of data center and interconnection solutions, releases Service Exchange to enable direct, private and secure connections to multiple cloud service providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure.
Service Exchange is an interconnect solution that offers direct and easy access to multiple clouds and networks. It provides security and low latency over a single interface to multiple cloud partners.
Service Exchange, poweredby Megaport, provides more flexibility and scalability in the businesses. The latest platform offers easy access between interconnected services generating greater performance, reliability and security for cloud services. The customers can access to multiple cloud service providers using a single port that supports multiple virtual private connections ("Virtual Cross Connects") to service providers and data centers.
"Enterprises undertaking the digital transformation must be able to navigate growing concerns regarding network security issues, changing regulatory requirements, unpredictable performance and escalating operating costs," said Rick Villars, Vice President for Datacenter and Cloud at International Data Corporation. "Digital Realty's Service Exchange will enable enterprises to tackle these concerns and efficiently manage high-performance interconnections between internal applications and cloud resources in a secure and cost-effective environment."
