Fraxtor to Allow Accredited Investors to Invest on the Semi- Finished Property Projects

    Apac CIOOutlook | Thursday, December 05, 2019
    Tweet

Singapore-based property technology company, Fraxtor lets the Accredited Investors invest in real estate projects with the help of blockchain technology. This initiative has allowed common people to invest in semi-finished property projects

Fremont, CA: Investing in property for common people can be defined as investments made on the fully complete projects. However, in recent years, new opportunities have been created for common people to invest in semi-finished projects with the help of blockchain technology.

In many cases, the property development/building projects take several years from the ground ups, and also the process carries a couple of risks. Prop-tech as a domain was limited to the property developers having tremendous financial resources and business connections. However, this space is now open to all accr

    edited investors (AIs).

A prop-tech company, Fraxtor based in Singapore, allows AIs to Co- invest in some of its real estate projects through its property investment platform, which has been achieved by implementing blockchain technology. Fraxtor's management strongly believes that blockchain technology can potentially replace traditional ownership instrumentations that include share certificates, title deeds, and capitalization. Fraxtor's tokens, commonly known as "Frax", are backed by the underlying property through "digital SPV." The idea was proposed by Oliver, with the help of his experience as a property investor or an active REIT.

In July 2019, Fraxtor entirely financed it's very first freehold landed the residential project, which is located in the Upper Thompson Road, Singapore. The company is looking forward to establish new real estate projects in regions such as Tokyo, Berlin as well as Melbourne, aiming at asset enhancement.

The factor might not be able to compete with the traditional real estate firms in terms of the property deals. This makes the company provide a platform for the real estate developer along with the asset manager to raise funds and capitalize on the projects. This initiative taken by Fraxtor allows common people to invest in real estate projects.
